Russian intelligence reports on Katrina-"Decent into He

Postby Fearless » Wed Aug 31, 2005 11:21 am

This was in my email this morning. Anyone here familiar with this writer? I'm posting for the information about offers of help from other countries.

...

Being kept from these American people also by their Military Rulers have been the uncounted offers of assistance from Nations all around the world, including: Venezuela has offered their Medical Airlift Command for the evacuation of peoples trapped in these devastated regions; Holland has offered the resources of their Public Works Ministry (and who are the acknowledged World Experts for below sea level water evacuation procedures); Russia has offered over 100,000 temporary living structures, along with Military Personal to assist their American counterparts; Iran has offered 1 Billion US Dollars in immediate assistance and guaranteed 5,000,000 barrels of oil at $35.00 US Dollars; China has offered their Military Rescue Forces (Who are acknowledged as one of the best in the world for rescuing peoples in flood ravaged areas.)

All of these offers, and more, the Military Leaders of the United States have declined, and for the their previously stated reason: “The United States Government and its People Respectfully Decline your offer of assistance and refer you to our previous State Department Bulletin (NCO:1378 in which we had stated that this remains an internal action.”

This morning remains one of the most critical times in the history of these once great people in America. Only through such unprecedented cataclysms such as they are currently experiencing are they able to break through the lies and distortions of their Military Leaders and Propaganda Media Organs to see, even glimpse, the wholesale lies they are told in order to keep them in a pacified state.

But sadly, and as the events of September 11, 2001 clearly show, the mass of these Americans are willing to believe any and all lies they are told, no matter how absurd, as long as they can be left with the illusion that their lives today will continue into their tomorrows. How sad it is for them to see their world in these terms, but it remains a fact that this is indeed the only way they can cope with a world disintegrating around them.

www.whatdoesitmean.com/index813.htm

This is mind-blowing. I glanced at a message board on a MSM site, and lots of the people are complaining "why aren't other countries coming to help?" Since of course, the good ol' US of A helps all other nations, why aren't those ingrates helping us?

This information needs to be made known far and wide to the public, esp. the bit about Iran's offer.

I feel like I'm in quicksand, at a stagmire. I'm so depressed I want to give up.

RE: US turning down help

Postby BlueCherub » Wed Aug 31, 2005 1:06 pm

Has this been posted at DU or elsewhere? Any other news reports of this? I have to leave shortly, but I hope someone takes the time to post a thread and links on DU or KOS (I don't post over there, but someone else might). I do know that the offer from Chavez was posted on DU.

How simply unbelievable and also telling that this kind of help has been turned down! I am disgusted, saddened, despairing and angry as hell at these lowlife scum rat bastards! Why are we letting them get away with this?!!!

That's why the word of it must be spread far and near as Col Quisp suggested! <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/mad.gif ALT=">:">

Intertnational Offers of Assistance -- Venezuela

Postby Starman » Wed Aug 31, 2005 1:26 pm

Saw this on a Kos discussion thread, which BTW is an excellant informative thread --
cindysheehan.dailykos.com...162831/182

Venezuela is Offering Relief (4.00 / 5)

CARACAS (AFP) - Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez offered to send food and fuel to the United States after the powerful Hurricane Katrina pummeled the US south, ravaging US crude production.

The leftist leader, a frequent critic of the United States and a target himself of US disapproval, said Venezuela could send aid workers with drinking water, food and fuel to US communities hit by the hurricane.

"We place at the disposition of the people of the United States in the event of shortages -- we have drinking water, food, we can provide fuel," Chavez told reporters.

****
Haven't seen much commentary on the NO Mayor's appeal for some drastic action though -- the report of the failed sandbag operation hasn't been shown on CNN -- late last night/early morning CNN broadcast a pretty mild discussion by the Mayor in which he minimized the Superdome problem, saying the folks there might have to bear-up another week (!!!!!!) -- which sounds incredibly unrealistic. The city isn't going to be functioning minimally for several months under the most optimistic scenario, and things are likely to get even worse.

At the very least, it seems they'll need some heavy-lift helicopters on-scene. But, I haven't seen ANYTHING being done at the levees -- the apparant failuire to have equipment and materials pre-positioned is simply unconscionable.

Just heard -- Lake Ponchetrain dropped two feet overnight, still has two feet to go before its water level is equalized. Not working on the canal breeches will go down as one of, if not THE, most irresponsible non-actions on this developing catastrophe.

Is FEMA setting-up refugee camps someplace out of the area?

Does anyone except FEMA/Homeland Security will use their authority to commandeer Tour Boats for floating refugee hotels? Not that that would be an effective long-term strategy. We're talking, hundreds of thousands of people need to be relocated, or at least helped with moving to other communities -- seems a massive rehousing/rebuilding program needs to happen, as well as massive clean-up jobs programs. What a huge logistical challenge. This is probably like resettling war-refugees.

Somehow, I can't take any comfort in my own relative good-fortune -- I just feel so awful for the people who have lost everything.

Oh, I heard too -- some plan to relocate the Superdome refugees to the Houston Astrodome.

Just incredible.
It occurred to me yesterday -- what an opportunity for people across the nation to open their homes.
Then I found this reference: Home-Shelter offers:
craigs list <<a href="http://neworleans.craigslist.org/ccc/>">neworleans.craigslist.org/ccc/> has people posting offers of places to stay, many of which are pretty far away.

Just heard an offhand, undetailed reference to Germany's offer of assistance.

Not surprising, but disgusting, that these international offers of assistance aren't being widely communicated, or even made use of. An awful lot of incompetance and lack of planning evident here.

Starman

Serious offers would be made to the state department, not to CNN. If they have been made then it's up to the state department to reveal that. Chavez was offering gas to the poor since BEFORE the hurricane. I will be able to die happy if the US is forced to accept his offer!

Let's do the math

Postby Fearless » Wed Aug 31, 2005 2:20 pm

5,000,000 barrels of oil at $35.00 US is just about 50% of what we're paying now. That works out to a profit loss of $17,500,000.

Still think they would accept their offer? We won't hear a word about it, if it's true.

who is Sorcha Faal?

Postby Peachtree Pam » Wed Aug 31, 2005 4:01 pm

Here is something from tbrnews.com which states that Sorcha Faal is someone named David Booth, who may be a bit controversial.

Conspiracy Corner

Who is ‘Sorcha Faal? A Posterboy for Mental Health

Unknown Energy Surges Continue to Hit Planet, Global Weather Systems in Chaos

December 22, 2004
by: Sorcha Faal, and as reported to the Russian Academy of Sciences

“An increasingly panicked global effort is now underway by the worlds top scientists to understand an unprecedented series of ‘blasts’, energy surges, which the planet has been taking from as an yet unknown source which has been bombarding Antarctica with cosmic rays and disrupting Northern Hemisphere weather systems on a global scale.

The first of these cosmic ray blasts occurred nearly 5 years ago and have been increasing in their frequency and intensity since the end of November. The once normally darkened skies of the Northern Hemispheres Arctic regions are now in twilight due to these blasts. Wayne Davidson, from the Canadian Government's weather station at Resolute Bay, located in the Arctic Circle, says about this mysterious lighting, "The entire horizon is raised like magic, like the hand of God is bringing it up.”

On December 1, 2004 the largest recorded blast sent not only shockwaves through the world scientific community but also through the Northern Hemisphere resulting in one of the largest weather events in recorded human history when 86,800 square miles of China was shrouded in fog, bringing transportation systems (especially air travel) to a virtual standstill throughout the country.

As reported by the BBC in this article from October, 2002, “German scientists have found a significant piece of evidence linking cosmic rays to climate change. They have detected charged particle clusters in the lower atmosphere that were probably caused by the space radiation. They say the clusters can lead to the condensed nuclei which form into dense clouds.”

These German scientists from the from the Max Planck Institute of Nuclear Physics in Heidelberg go on to say that their measurements "have for the first time detected in the upper troposphere large positive ions with mass numbers up to 2500", and "Our observations provide strong evidence for the ion-mediated formation and growth of aerosol particles in the upper troposphere."

What they hadn’t expected to happen though has been the large scale occurrences of this over the past few weeks, to include China on December 2nd and 14th and then India on the 21st, which is due to both China’s and India’s reliance on fossil fuels and the continuing degradation of their air quality.

The effects of these blasts have also been felt throughout the rest of the Northern Hemisphere resulting in such freak occurrences as, hurricane force winds in Paris , Germany, Canada, Russia, England and the United States on an almost simultaneous basis. Accompanying these hurricane force winter winds have been the massive cold fronts following them dropping normal winter lows to record lows throughout the entire Northern Hemisphere.

Though not yet at a point to acknowledge this publicly, some of the world’s top scientists are beginning to see an astrophysical correlation between these cosmic ray blasts to our planet and an ever increasing number of global events relating to atmospheric explosions of inbound meteors, such as those in Indonesia, where a meteorite was picked up by their Air Forces radar, China, where a meteorite explosion turned ‘night into day’ and Washington D.C. where one police official stated, "It looked like a ball of fire falling out of the sky."

The world’s top scientists have begun coordinating with Dr. Eun-Suk Seo from the United States University of Maryland, and her team, in a ‘search’ for answers to the origin of these cosmic ray blasts directed from an unknown origin in space towards the South Pole and disrupting our global weather systems.

Under Dr. Eun-Suk Seo her and her international team’s direction NASA launched a stratospheric balloon on December 20th from Antarctica’s McMurdo base and have stated, “The balloon, following circulation of winds high, will sail around the ice continent for about three weeks. During this time, data of great scientific interest will be gathered. These data concern flows of charged particles of highest energy (cosmic rays) coming from Space.”

But as one Russian scientist said to us, and who wished to remain anonymous, “Why this game? We all know what’s happening.” an apparent reference to the fact though these events are well known to both world governments and the scientific establishments they are beyond the understanding of the general public at large.

Whatever the end results these experiments reveal for these scientists, it remains an undisputed fact that this world of ours is facing a type of global cataclysmic event buried in our common geological past, and maybe, as some social scientists report, in our common ancestral memory also.”

Sorcha Faal turns out to be a nom de plume for David Booth, a retired computer programmer from New Hampshire who stirred up limited controversy in conspioracy circles with the promotion of his book ‘Code Red: The Coming Destruction of the United States 2004.’Booth claimed the book originated in a “consecutive ten day dream he alleged he experienced in 2003 in which he saw a large sized planetary body pass close to Earth causing an explosion. This was then built up into the story about ‘Planet X’ a heretofore unknown planet in our solar system on a very long, elliptical orbit. In May 2003, it was alleged by the lunatic fringe that the non-existant “Planet X” would pass close enough to the Earth to affect it in some way, causing it to flip over (what many call a "pole shift") and spur many other huge disasters. The end result was solemnly predicted be the deaths of many billions of people. There are a large number of web pages, chat rooms and books about Planet X and its horrible effects on the Earth.

So the question is, does this planet exist, and did it come close enough to Earth in May 2003 and cause great catastrophes? Did an atomic bomb explode over downtown Houston, Texas, on December 25th, 2004 by orders of Paul Wolfowitz? Many internet readers were breathlessly informed of this by a Canadian masquerading as the “German Guy,” a purported senior intelligence official in the German BND. Houston still stands, undamaged, and as far as the mythical ‘Planet X’ is concerned, here is a comment from the official NASA website:

From the NASA website:

There is no known Planet X or 10th planet in our solar system. Scientists have been looking for about a hundred years. It was believed that such a planet was required to explain the orbital characteristics of the outer planets Uranus and Neptune. Many searches have been performed and, to date, no evidence of such a planet has emerged. In addition, better information about the masses of outer planets has also now shown that no other planets are necessary to explain the planetary orbits.

There also is no Sorcha Faal in St. Petersburg, Russia or Florida. None of the Russian scientific bodies listed in the Faal accounts, specifically the Russian Academy of Science, has any record of such a person and a good deal of interesting information on this whole subject can be found at:

www.rense.com/general51/plagiar.htm
