Sepka wrote:I really had hoped you'd give this a try, Hugh. If you're correct about the CIA using movies in this manner, then it really should be possible to predict events that will take place around the time an upcoming movie is released.

And Nordic, please don't be abusive. I'd like to see the experiment tried, and confrontation isn't likely to encourage that.

Thanks!

I agree on both points.

Hugh, you see yourself as someone who espouses the scientific method. This is an opportunity to test your approach.

I don't understand - why you are not participating in Sepka's (very straightforward) OP?

The movie:
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
In Movie Theaters: June 22, 2012
Directed by: Timur Bekmambetov

Synopsis: Abraham Lincoln, the Great Emancipator, secretly battles with the undead as an ax-throwing, highly trained vampire assassin. Vampires are presented as the real conflict behind the Civil War.

The prediction:
Hugh's dumb posts forever.

CIA has been in the "entertainment business" even before Capital Cities took over ABC.

I've been frustrated trying to engage directly with Hugh and this question has been discussed. I forget who actually did the math, but they determined that, based on past posts, Hugh generally responds to direct slander and attacks rather than open-ended questions like this. Also, given the open nature of threads, there's always sniping going on that competes for his attention. I know that when I've tried this direct engagement approach, someone -- usually several somebodies -- will jump in what what are frankly pointless ad hominem attacks (no matter what your rationale is? I'm just talking behavior in that given thread) so naturally Hugh shifts his attention to those instead of the OP.

From Sepka's OP
If the CIA is using those [Hollywood movies] to distract from specific events in the news, then they know two years in advance what the headlines will be.

The KWH theme that Hugh puports is not only (I'd say) KWH by Hollywood movies after the event, but keyword preplanting:

On the very morning of 11th September 2001, in a broadcast at 8.01 am,
the 911 keyword is broadcast:

the 911keyword is happenly mentioned (by coincidenceImage, of course...

[Note also the the object in the weather report that appears to be approaching the East Coast, but isn't mentioned....] but that's another story...

WOW!

Byrne thank you so much for that - it felt to me like as soon as they cut to Tom Brocaw - that was the moment something changed. The news - it was so... ordinary. No War on Terra.
Well apart that is from the small matter of what looked like a hurricane barreling towards New York :)

I discovered that youtube video about 2 weeks ago (deep within the Deep Politics Forum)

Of course, it's purely a coincidenk that the 911 keyphrase was mentioned in the early morning broadcast of that fateful day, was it not, yee detractors of Hugh's theories....?

After all, that's why Al-Q chose 911, was it not? Or was it the resultant of CIA media impropagation ?

Can you explain how that would actually relate to Hugh's theories, though? This passing comment seems like a category error.

Category error? [ explain yersel' ] it may be, but the fact that the 911 keyword was touted that morning, for a later explanation within that full evening TeeVee program ....
I'm sure you can see the hijack in that? Or the coincidence in that

How this relates to HMW's theories is that Hugh posits implicit connections of media gerrymandering of public perception of events.

& the early morning TV broadcat pre-empts & prepares the 911 keyword, for all to suckle on later
