A new resource on the Franklin Cover-Up: franklincase.org.

What I've seen so far looks impressive. For instance, the electronic copies of relevant press clippings here and a video and audio page including a streaming version of the Conspiracy of Silence documentary and interviews with photographer Rusty Nelson.

Edited by: Rigorous Intuition at: 2/28/06 4:37 pm

I experienced something rather sinister at a public meeting north of SF Bay regarding the Franklin Cover-up.

I attended a 12/2004 public forum on the recent presidential election fraud and was standing in a line at a microphone to question the panel of activists.

The disheveled guy in front of me was hauled away by campus security or a town cop for asking why GHWBush was allowed to get away with raping children. He was treated as a flakey disruptor (apparently he does this at lots of public meetings in the area) but he was inarticulately referring to the Franklin cover-up.

As he was being ushered out of the room I had people urging me to hurry up and question the panel to get the event back on track but I was pretty rattled by what just happened.

Afterwards when I had time to think about it I considered that this might have even been theater to discredit the topic. Of course, this was also in a region of the country that has lots of people who know about the kind of things discussed at this site and the 60s has left some psychic scars, too.

Kevin Phillips who supervises Project Censored over at Sonoma State University was there on the panel and I've been meaning to ask him (casual acquintance) if he was aware what that scene was all about.

I witnessed something similar, Hugh,

Postby Rigorous Intuition » Tue Feb 28, 2006 11:34 pm

the first day of the Toronto 9/11 Truth Conference nearly two years ago.

When the audience was given the floor a woman from Boston took the mic. She wasn't dishevelled, but she became increasingly distraught as she spoke of the hidden crimes of elite paedophiles. Clearly this stuff was news to most in the crowd, off-topic and crazy sounding. Organizers handled it well, though, and after letting her speak for a while said they would provide a place for her during the break so she could speak with interested audience members.

Also, I can't find the link right now, but I remember reading a couple of years ago about a woman who was ejected from the public gallery of the Senate (or was it Congress?) for screaming about pedophiles in the chamber.

Thanks for this link. I just now started reading it. To see this laid out is to question, holding one's breath, how many towns this occurs in. How sad that I now distrust just about all orphanages, and other such services.

Anyone ever seen this bit before?

Quote:

Nicholas O’Hara, acting head of the F.B.I. in Omaha, said his investigation centered around money laundering. Later, courts would find that laundered funds from the Franklin Credit Union had been used in a transaction between Lieutenant Colonel Michael Aquino and Larry King, diverted funds that were used for and Iran Contra exchange.

Is this one of those well known things that my aging brain is forgetting? Is this well documented or simply a rumor? It seemed significant, to say the least.

I don't recall seeing Aquino's name linked to money laundering, and checking just now against the index of The Franklin Cover-Up I don't see it there. Wonder where that came from, and how it can be said "courts would find."
