While I do appreciate the guess, I'm disinclined to think it would stand for Loose Change. It just doesn't fit conceptually in terms of symbol use, imo. I am reading this in a way that seems very slick and well thought out. Exceptional craftsmanship, storytelling, and attention to detail. No, if I go with the reading of it being 'LC', I believe Lucifer/Christ makes much more sense. He talked of duality (listen beginning 30:00 mark specifically). "Right, Left, Muslim Christian, Male, Female, The black and white checkerboard", I would add it is two letters/characters. One black, one white. Remember, he said it is a one and zero and it was a reference to how we see.
I don't believe him when he says it is supposed to be a 1 and 0, and it would seem neither might you. I don't think it would be Loose Change though, and I would definitely be disappointed if it were. Not because of any of the reasons Jack stated, as I think Loose Change served a purpose. I think it got people to ask a lot more questions, but that debate is not relevant. I just don't think thats what it stands for. It also goes against the way he employed all of the other elements, imo.
Black L- lucifer
White C-Chirst
This works. I submit it may also be why he claimed it was what it cannot be visually, that of a 1 or 0.
I'm not accusing him of anything other than working with opposites. I also seem to be accusing him of not being truthful as to say what it really is would cause him much grief with the religious crowd who are already giving him all sorts of paranoid nonsense. Just a guess, but that is my best one so far based on the evidence. That is IF it is a L and C, for if it is a 1 and 0, well, I have far too much respect, and and far too convinced by the thoroughness and attentive detail, to even suspect sloppy work or saying he didn't 'pull it off'. He pulled something off.
There is another possibility. Maybe we need to read the parts of the characters in conjunction with the other elements that roll/lay into it. Maybe he tried to get 'too cute'. Taking an idea and extending/stretching it to dissolution. It happens when you push envelops.
I really wanted the chess move to work (C7), but in symbolic terms, Lucifer/Christ works perfectly, imo.
