Drew, I’m always entertained or fascinated by numerous music videos and documentaries you’ve posted. Thank You. This one, in particular, The Gospel of Intolerance: American Evangelicals Finance Uganda’s Antigay Movement documentary is troubling, and my feeling about those Christian Pentecostalists, fundamentalists, dominionists and reconstructionists—whose predisposition expressed by their relentless behavior, supported by billions of dollars, to change other people’s minds by praying for domination on every continent “in the name and power of Jesus Christ, offering his gift of eternal salvation to everyone before his return to earth”—is rancor, and those particular male- and white-dominated Christian behaviors shameful. Gladly, we read on the final screen of that video:
Feeling rancor is too heavy to carry around, so it’s surrendered while listening to performances, for example, by Barry Douglas, an Irish-born pianist.
This piece was published before I began watching with some fascination lush landscape and night sky time-lapses. Canary sky - Tenerife is Exquisite as well as the string ensemble with oboe solo!
