What are you listening to right now?

^ Joshua Bell, violinist | Jeremy Denk, accompanist. Their conversation begins at about 29.26 after playing pieces by César Franck, Maurice Ravel, and another piece composed by a 19th century rock star violinist whose name is unfamiliar and unspellable by me .

(and by the way, it looks like most all eps of "Kreskin meets..." are on youtube)

Don’t Stop Thinking about Tomorrow | Fleetwood Mac

Postby Allegro » Mon Sep 02, 2013 2:00 am

^ Don’t Stop Thinking about Tomorrow | Fleetwood Mac
The song release 1977. Hauntology? Uncanny?
Edit: song release noted above was corrected. I erred earlier by typing 1997 .

    LYRICS.
If you wake up and don’t want to smile
If it takes just a little while
Open your eyes and look at the day
You’ll see things in a different way

    Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow
Don’t stop, it’ll soon be here
    It’ll be better than before
    Yesterday’s gone, yesterday’s gone

Why not think about times to come?
And not about the things that you’ve done
If your life was bad to you
Just think what tomorrow will do

    Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow
Don’t stop, it’ll soon be here
    It’ll be better than before
    Yesterday’s gone, yesterday’s gone

All I want is to see you smile
If it takes just a little while
I know you don’t believe that it’s true
I never meant any harm to you

    Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow
Don’t stop, it’ll soon be here
    It’ll be better than before
    Yesterday’s gone, yesterday’s gone

    Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow
Don’t stop, it’ll soon be here
    It’ll be better than before
    Yesterday’s gone, yesterday’s gone

    Don’t you look back
    Don’t you look back
    Don’t you look back
    Don’t you look back

^^^

Good recordings from that era have an open, uncompressed sound.
Makes me think of my dad's mono hi-fi - Tannoy Gold speaker - Pye of Cambridge valve amp and pre-amp - Garrard turntable - Shure pickup.
Clear as a bell.
