......so does Annett pass the due-diligence ?.....I was vaguely aware there were various accusations flying around but would be frankly amazed if there weren't given the type of stuff he comes out with.....you just don't say that kind of thing without it creating disturbances in the dark side of the force........ sorting it outs like trying to pick the bones out of Fritz Springmeier & his stuff...

....personally I've no doubt at all he has grabbed hold of something real & extremely nasty in terms of this Vancouver thing...network....web of corruption or whatever the fuck it is........

Quid Pro Quo
.
Heather Martin has been whoring up the First Nations activism circuit for awhile now with her hate campaigns and rhetoric as if she is some sort of sage.

People with integrity check their facts and don't put out neg. energies everywhere and this two bit self appointed 'soothsayer' does. She's drawn someone's attention now that can Quid Pro Quo her diatribes and who does have the IT Skills to back up what is posted and said over time... it's time to examine her ways, methods and call to bear her lies and waste of peoples time.

The high incidence of sociopathy in human society has a profound effect on the rest of us who must live on this planet, too, even those of us who have not been clinically traumatized. The individuals who constitute this 4 percent drain our relationships, our bank accounts, our accomplishments, our self-esteem, our very peace on earth. Yet surprisingly, many people know nothing about this disorder, or if they do, they think only in terms of violent psychopathy - murderers, serial killers, mass murderers - people who have conspicuously broken the law many times over, and who, if caught, will be imprisoned, maybe even put to death by our legal system.

We are not commonly aware of, nor do we usually identify, the larger number of nonviolent sociopaths among us, people who often are not blatant lawbreakers, and against whom our formal legal system provides little defense. Most of us would not imagine any correspondence between conceiving an ethnic genocide and, say, guiltlessly lying to one's boss about a coworker. But the psychological correspondence is not only there; it is chilling. Simple and profound, the link is the absence of the inner mechanism that beats up on us, emotionally speaking, when we make a choice we view as immoral, unethical, neglectful, or selfish. Most of us feel mildly guilty if we eat the last piece of cake in the kitchen, let alone what we would feel if we intentionally and methodically set about to hurt another person.

Those who have no conscience at all are a group unto themselves, whether they be homicidal tyrants or merely ruthless social snipers. The presence or absence of conscience is a deep human division, arguably more significant than intelligence, race, or even gender. What differentiates a sociopath who lives off the labors of others from one who occasionally robs convenience stores, or from one who is a contemporary robber baron - or what makes the difference between an ordinary bully and a sociopathic murderer - is nothing more than social status, drive, intellect, blood lust, or simple opportunity.

What distinguishes all of these people from the rest of us is an utterly empty hole in the psyche, where there should be the most evolved of all humanizing functions.

Heather Martin's Deceptive Strategies and Playing The Victim
What I find quite amusing about deceptive skanks like Heather Martin is that they can rarely take the crap they dish out to others regularly.

First Heather Martin goes for the jugular with her defamatory libel and wild-eyed false accusations against Kevin Annett and Kitty Hundal and others, and then when someone responds exactly in kind all of a sudden Heather’s screeching like a little baby about how victimized she is by evil meanies.

Is she so emotionally retarded that she is unaware of the impact that her cyberbullying, cyberharassment and cyberstalking is having on others? I don’t know Heather but I doubt it. Based on what I’ve read she appears to be quite aware of the damage she’s doing to people, appears to do it quite intentionally, and appears to get a great deal of pleasure out of it.

She had no problem knowingly libeling Kitty Hundal and her company. I say ‘knowingly’ because she has no evidence whatsoever to back up her lies other than rumor. So when someone spreads rumors they’ve picked up from complete strangers and don’t have any independently verifiable evidence to support them, then, in my opinion, they are knowingly libeling the person.

After libeling Kitty Hundal’s company and clearly attempting to impact Kitty Hundal’s ability to earn a living....

After viciously libeling Kevin Annett for months on end in a rage hate blog solely dedicated to defaming him and with the clear intent of damaging his ability to raise funds to support his charitable work and his ability to do it....

Heather Martin starts whinnying like a baby when a blog is written about her and truthfully points out the impact her obviously abnormal online behavior could potentially be having in her place of employment, particularly if she is a psychopath or sociopath. Of course, that is something her employer would have to determine through exercising due diligence.

Frankly, and in my opinion, this is not the type of person who should be entrusted with the care of vulnerable people. We have a lot of people like this in the medical system here in Ontario and it’s deteriorating rapidly. Law suits against the Ministry of Health and individual medical staff are being won and huge amounts (in the hundreds of thousands) are being awarded. One recent law suit resulted in a damage award of over half a million dollars. This is huge in Canada. We’re not like the US where large awards are the norm not the exception.

Here’s the facts: there isn’t a standard that exists, by which either Heather Martin’s online behavior or the BoneYard RatKrew she’s currently colluding with, could ever be defined as normal.

Normal people do not:

Write rage hate blogs dedicated to defaming/libeling individuals who have done them no direct and personal harm.
Obsess about those individuals by fabricating numerous lies based on nothing but rumor, innuendo, actively encouraging people to lie, set people up by framing them, etc
Target anyone who is friendly with that person or attempts to be fair or sees through their hateful lies
Carry on the obsession for months on end (continuing into years), intensifying the hate despite the complete lack of reaction by the individuals targeted.
Pretend you're the poor little victim when people react normally to such abuse by standing up for themselves and confronting you, the bully and objecting to your cyberbullying, cyberharassment and cyberstalking.

Heather Martin and the BoneYard RatKrew consisting of Kree Love (not his real name), Thomas W. Cook (real last name Schroeder), Christopher Joseph Erwin and Julie Ann Larson (an elementary school teacher in LA County) do all of the above and have done so to both Kevin Annett and Kitty Hundal.

Heather Martin appears to have illegally obtained an email exchange between Kitty Hundal and Michael Babcock. Did she steal them by having a tech friend keylog Babcock’s computer? No matter how she got them the reality is that she published them illegally, that is, without Kitty Hundal’s permission.

She appears to be unable to differentiate between the ethical act of publishing information that is evidence of illegal acts or a persons lies and the unethical act of violating an individuals privacy to bully, harass and defame them.

In the meantime, Heather Martin climbs her own narcissitic and egoic high horse to self-righteously pontificate about the evils of others while elevating herself, her personal hate, her rage blog targeting Kevin Annett and other friends of his, her cyberstalking, her association with DarkNet Child Trafficking scammers, and her own illegal activity, to the level of sainthood while spewing her lies about innocent, honest social activists who have not committed the crimes she’s falsely accusing them of in her wild-eyed rants on her blog.

Has it not occurred to Heather that if Kevin Annett was indeed guilty of even a tiny portion of the lies, the false accusations directed against him he would be in jail?

Here’s the reality that the Heather Martins and RatKrews of this world like to obfuscate:
They are bullies / cyberbullies who actually get pleasure out of abusing people with lies to defame and smear them. They especially like to target people that they know are innocent, honest, credible, competent, and generally respected. They are intoxicated by the feeling of power they get when they succeed. They succeed simply because people don't fight back by confronting them.
Social activists are good targets because the police generally won’t get involved, or care, and the police, intelligence or other services will sometimes pay cash to people who stumble across the occasional bit of good information that can be used against the social activist to control them.

In this scenario, Heather Martin only starts to care when her own poor wittle feewings have been hurt by someone standing up to her bullying and abuse. Especially when they stand up to her, by doing to her, exactly what she’s been doing to others, for months on end.

And frankly, people have exercised amazing restraint where Heather Martin is concerned. It’s taken months for anyone to even start to respond to this woman.

I’m guessing people simply hoped she would eventually get over herself, her massive narcissistic ego, and move on to other things. This didn’t happen. Instead she has intensified her hate campaign and in recent months escalated it to include cyberstalking under the judicious guidance and instructions of the DarkNet Child Trafficking scammers of the BoneYard RatKrew.

In the face of Heather Martin's vicious attacks and lies:
Some, like Kitty Hundal, reached out and attempted to reason with her and come to a friendly, diplomatic resolution.
Some, like Kevin Annett, took the high road and chose not to get dragged into the dramas she was fabricating.

Heather Martin would have no part of any of these efforts to come to mature, adult based resolutions. Instead she continued to behave like a two year old in the middle of a raging temper tantrum.

She never ‘got over’ her bullshit despite being given plenty of time
She spat in the face of anyone who attempted to be nice to her and resolve things like adults.
She got crazier and crazier where her false accusations against people were concerned and started escalating to crazier behavior like cyberstalking.

So, why then is she so ‘surprised’ that people respond to her by doing exactly the same back to her? Is she completely unable to self-evaluate that her own actions are going to eventually have a reaction or a consequence? Especially when she's attacking people with the intent of damaging their ability to earn an income?

Well, it’s probably because the standard reaction to bullies and abusers like Heather Martin is to lay low, not respond, and wait until their nastiness blows over. This is what she expects.

However, we all know from experience that doesn’t work. As evidenced by Heather Martin’s own behavior, they just get more obnoxious and widen their hit list. The discovery that they can get away with doing this stuff if they’re really nasty because no-one will fight back is intoxicating to people like this. It empowers them and they will continue not only with their old targets but with new ones as well.

The only way to deal with bullies like this, especially a cyberstalking one like Heather Martin is to confront them publicly on their lies and with their behavior and let them know that it’s not acceptable. One way of confronting liars on their lies is to demand proof, if any is provided examine it critically to ensure that it really is proof of the actual allegation they’re making and when they can’t prove it call them on their bullshit.

Heather Martin and the RatKrews pattern of behavior to date is to provide people with numerous screenshots claiming that they have 'evidence' to support their lies. However, when one actually looks at it, it's either completely irrelevant, doesn't support the allegations or in some cases, ironically refutes their own allegations. Heather does this last one a lot. Every post she's written where she attacks Kitty Hundal personally and professionally contains screenshots which actually refute her lies and expose her as a liar. ROFL.

The Heather Martins of this world can never prove any of their slanderous or libelous claims.

If everyone demanded that they provide evidence of their lies, that act, in and of itself would put an end to their bullshit. The Heather Martins of the world would not only stop, they’d run for cover and hide because they’re essentially cowards.

Please note that the author of this blog invites Heather Martin to contact a lawyer and file a libel suit against the blog. Such a law suit would be welcome and the author will especially enjoy looking forward to having the Judge in such a law suit examine Heather Martin’s hate blog against Kevin Annett and the libelous claims in it against Kevin Annett, Kitty Hundal and others, which is what instigated these posts.

Note that defamatory libel is a criminal act in Canada and Heather Martin could find herself behind bars at the instructions of a judge given the extreme nature of her online criminal harassment campaign against Kevin Annett.

Seriously. Just how far does this delusional skank think she will get with all of this given her own openly criminal behavior (cyberstalking = criminal harassment).

If Heather Martin really did have a genuine concern for social causes like residential school abuse, child abuse and trafficking, then there are many constructive and productive activities that she could be engaging in to support and promote those causes. It seems that she prefers to hook up with a Facebook RatKrew that was exposed for running a DarkNet Child Trafficking Scam and expand her hit list of social activist targets in collusion with them.

Adding this here, from "Pope to resign, first in 600 years." I'm going to go ahead and trust that it's OK to bump this thread up and rehabilitate it.

Pope Francis appoints 19 new cardinals in Vatican ceremony

Benedict joins Francis as pope installs new cardinals

Image

(CNN) -- Pope Francis created 19 new cardinals Saturday in a ceremony in the Vatican's St. Peter's Basilica -- the first such appointments since he was elected pontiff last March.

The new cardinals come from countries around the world, hailing from as far afield as Brazil, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, South Korea and Haiti.

The pope presented them with the traditional biretta, or red cap, and ring at a formal ceremony called a public consistory.

The scarlet color of the cap symbolizes the cardinals' willingness to die for their faith.

Looking frail, Benedict, the Pope Emeritus, lined up with the existing cardinals for the ceremony in the historic church.

When last year he became the first pope in almost six centuries to stand down, Benedict said he would live a life of seclusion and study.

His presence in St. Peter's Basilica alongside that of Francis and the cardinals who will one day vote for his successor is a highly unusual event.

Francis spoke

Sixteen of the new cardinals are under the age of 80, making them eligible to elect a new pope when the time comes, according to Vatican Radio.

Pope names top economists, finance experts to Vatican body

ROME Sat Mar 8, 2014 3:44pm EST

(Reuters) - Pope Francis named top laymen from the worlds of finance and economics on Saturday to a new Vatican Council for the Economy, intended to improve scrutiny of the Holy See's scandal-plagued accounts.

The creation of the 15-member council is a major step in bringing lay people into the Vatican, and reflects a drive by Francis to make changes to an establishment often seen as murky and secretive.

The seven non-religious figures in the council include Maltese economist Joseph Zahra, former director of the Central Bank of Malta, and France's Jean-Baptiste de Franssu, chairman of mergers and acquisitions advisory firm INCIPIT and former head of the European Fund and Asset Management Association.

Spanish University of Madrid economist Enrique Llano Cueto, German former McKinsey & Company partner Jochen Messemer, and Italian University of Messina Business Administration professor Francesco Vermiglio were also named members.

George Yeo, a former Singapore Finance Minister, was named alongside retired oil executive John Kyle.

The council includes eight prelates from around the world, coordinated by Munich and Freising Cardinal Reinhard Marx, known for speaking on socio-economic issues in Germany and one of the eight cardinals charged with re-organizing the Vatican administration, the Curia.

In a statement, the Holy See made it clear that the body has policy-making powers and is not just an advisory board.

"The members appointed to the Council are from various geographical areas, reflecting... the universality of the Church," the statement read.

A series of scandals involving financial mismanagement have embarrassed the Church, including documents leaked by the former pope's butler and an investigation by Italian magistrates into allegations of money laundering at the Vatican bank, formally called the Institute for Works of Religion (IOR).

Francis, who called for a "poor Church, for the poor" after his election almost a year ago, has not ruled out closing the IOR, which handles funds for religious orders and Vatican employees.

Luxury duty-free shop hidden in the Vatican

Image

James Bone Vatican City
Published at 12:01AM, March 10 2014

It is perhaps the world’s most exclusive duty-free shop, selling everything from giant flatscreen televisions to Armani suits.

Hidden inside the forbidding walls of the Vatican City, accessible only to those with a special pass, sits a little-known department store offering luxury goods to prelates and their staff.

The three-storey emporium, known as the magazzino, occupies what was once the Vatican’s magnificent railway station. The seldom-used track still runs outside.

Inside, Vatican employees — and no one else — can stock up on tax-free Salvatore Ferragamo handbags, Chanel perfume and Swarovski jewellery. There is a special corner for English-made Church’s shoes.

Rest of article is paywalled...

Maybe this shop is somewhere in the vicinity of the mafia crypt, the secret passageways, the suppressed documents, the Nazi gold, or any of the other ridiculously sinister stuff they hide in there.

Inside the Vatican’s pornographic bathroom.

By Tony Perrottet

Rumors that the Vatican is filled with perverse artworks are as old as the palace itself. Most of the stories are fabrications. But one is not: In 1516, the Renaissance master Raphael decorated a bathroom within the Papal Apartments with erotic frescos. Today, the wicked gallery is called the Stufetta della Bibbiena, the “small heated room of Cardinal Bibbiena,” after the worldly official who commissioned the work. It was, of course, a different era, when Bibbiena, like most papal officials, was a patron of the arts more than a servant of God. He was also the author of risqué plays and an erudite man-about-town. Like his peers, Bibbiena was entranced by the ribald pagan imagery that was being unearthed in Imperial Roman ruins. He asked his friend Raphael to decorate his lodgings in the fashionable classical style, complete with naked nymphs being spied upon by lusting satyrs, with no anatomical detail hidden.

Subsequent residents of the Vatican Palace were unimpressed. The Stufetta has been defaced, whitewashed over, and even turned into a kitchen before a Catholic art expert rediscovered it in the mid-19th century. But access remained limited, to say the least—largely because, after 1870, this section of the palace was turned into the pope’s own residence, and Cardinal Bibbiena’s ancient bedroom was used for official diplomatic meetings with visiting heads of state. Stories of the restored bathroom filtered out amongst the cognoscenti, but only the rarest visitor was permitted a viewing.

It was my greatest challenge.

I sent out emails to every department in the Vatican I could think of, trying to find out who might grant me a viewing. I asked Italian art academics. I quizzed Dr. Giovanni Maria Vian, erudite editor of L’Osservatore Romano, the Vatican newspaper. I presented myself to the Secretary of State as a scholar studying “the pagan influence on Renaissance art” —which, of course, was quite true.

And then, out of the blue, I received two conflicting emails. When I opened the first, I gave a shout for joy: It was from the State Secretariat, giving me an appointment to visit the Stufetta the following Monday at 4.30 p.m. “I hope you enjoy the visit,” it concluded amiably. The second informed me in no uncertain terms that the Stufetta was closed to outsiders. End of story.

I decided to print out the first email and turn up anyway.

But there were even more complications. On the day of my appointment, I received another email at 1 p.m. saying the visit was canceled, with no reason given. I shot back begging for a rescheduling. At 2 p.m., a monsignor telephoned me to say, va bene, the visit is on again. Apparently an Italian Minister was scheduled to meet the pope in his audience room. But if I turned up on time, they could slip me into the bathroom just beforehand during a 10-minute window.

By the time I turned up at the Vatican gates, I was a nervous wreck.

This time, the officials who grant entry permits at Checkpoint Charlie were perplexed, since they’d never even heard of the Stufetta. Who was I to be going into the Papal Apartments, the inner sanctum of the Catholic world? I sweated in a corner as calls were made, conversations carried out in hushed tones. The ancient clock ticked. Luckily I had noted down the name of the monsignor who had telephoned me that afternoon, the only human contact in the whole bureaucratic process. He confirmed my unlikely story. I was handed a different, magnificently embossed pass and told to hurry to a far courtyard.

From here, the visit unfolded in a dreamlike pace, as I was ushered into ever more obscure realms of the Vatican. I was escorted into a mahogany-paneled elevator, which rumbled upward into the Papal Apartments. At the top floor, the doors ground open to reveal two halberd-bearing Swiss Guards in their ceremonial plumage of orange and blue, who escorted me along a magnificent sun-filled corridor. On one side were giant picture windows with a sweeping view over Rome. On the other loomed giant antique maps of the world, with caravelles on the waves and the most of the Americas still missing.

After cooling my heels in a waiting room—repeating in my head all the learned observations I would make about “the pagan influence on Renaissance art” —the door suddenly opened and in strode Monsignor Peter Wells, one of the top figures in the secretariat. He is originally from Tulsa, Okla. “Real sorry about the mix-up on times today,” he said. “Hopefully we can get you in and out in a few minutes.”

We passed through Bibbiena’s original bedroom, now a sanitized meeting room, and stopped in front of a small wooden door. Poised with the key, the monsignor was momentarily perplexed. “We open up the Stufetta very rarely. Almost never.”

But then we were inside. That tight, vaulted room—twice as high as its 8-foot width—was covered with cavorting naked deities. Raphael had designed his frescoed panels like a graphic novel, recounting the adventures of Venus, the goddess of love, and Cupid, the god of erotic desire, for Cardinal Bibbiena to admire as he lounged in his hot tub. At knee level, the original silver faucet was crafted into the face of a leering satyr. One panel showed the naked goddess stepping daintily stepped into her foam-fringed shell. In others, she admires herself in a mirror, lounges between Adonis’ legs and swims in sensual abandon. A couple of the frames, even more risqué, have been destroyed. One, recorded by an early visitor, showed Vulcan attempting to rape Minerva.

Embarrassingly, I had to ask the monsignor to stand aside, so I could get a proper view of the most notorious image, of the randy goat-god Pan leaping from the bushes with a monstrous erection. I was shocked to see that the image had been vandalized. Someone had etched out Pan’s manhood and filled in the gap with white paint. This, of course, made the object even larger and more noticeable—another parable about the futility of censorship.

Soon I was back outside, heading for the exit. I was so elated, I felt like high-fiving the Swiss Guards at the gates. I’d beheld the fabled Stufetta and lived to tell about it. The images hardly qualified as jaw-dropping porn, but erotica is all about context. To find them buried deep in the Vatican, still surviving the centuries of guilt and repression, gave them a charge no click of the mouse could ever achieve.

To this day, I’m still not too sure why they let me in. Over pasta and wine a few days later, my Vatican correspondent friends suggested it was part of a grander plan. “They must have decided it was better to show you the Stufetta than keep you out,” said one old hand. Sometimes even the Vatican has to confess, and maybe I was the right candidate for the job.

As it says in the gospel of Luke: “For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light.” It may take a few centuries longer than expected, but the Vatican is on a different clock than you and I.
The new way of thinking is precisely delineated by what it is not.

In Vatican shake-up, Pope redefines role of second-in-command

(Reuters) - When he was elected a year ago, Pope Francis promised to shake up the bureaucracy of the world's smallest country. He has started at the top - curbing the once-overarching role of the secretary of state.

The cardinal who oversees the Vatican's relations with other countries has served as the top ranking official in the Holy See's bureaucracy since the 17th century. And in recent decades the office accumulated increasing authority over finances and job hires, taking on roles analogous to prime minister and chief of staff in the papal court, as well as that of top diplomat.

During the reign of retired Pope Benedict, critics blamed then Secretary of State Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone for failing to prevent the missteps and scandals that marred the German pontiff's eight years as Roman Catholic leader.

Now, however, Francis is reducing the power of the job, reshaping the department as one primarily involved in diplomacy like the U.S. State Department or foreign ministries elsewhere, stripping it of authority over finances and giving it a smaller role in internal matters.

He has chosen a frugal, publicity-shy career diplomat - Cardinal Pietro Parolin - who, according to those who know him, is the antithesis of his most recent predecessors in the post.

Bertone, and before him Cardinal Angelo Sodano, were driven around in limousines with their aides. Parolin walks alone in and around the Vatican.

In one of his first interviews, Parolin, whom a Catholic newspaper described as being "alien to clerical exhibitionism," said Vatican bureaucrats should be "more evangelical".

Redefining the secretary of state's role is a central part of Francis's agenda to clean up the Curia, the administration of the Holy See, following a series of scandals in 2012, the last full year of Benedict's pontificate.

A new department overseeing Vatican finances will now report directly to the pope. To head it, Francis chose an Australian who had never worked in Rome, Cardinal George Pell, a man far removed from the Italian-dominated Curia.

Insiders say that in another potential move aimed at power sharing the pope may also create an office of a coordinator of the Curia, a sort of chief of staff.

"SYSTEMIC DISORDER"

The ageing and frail Benedict was unable to deal with the internal upheaval that engulfed his papacy. In 2013 he became the first pope in 600 years to resign.

The so-called "Vatileaks" affair - in which Benedict's butler leaked sensitive documents alleging corruption in the Curia - was on the minds of many cardinals as they entered the Sistine Chapel in the conclave that elected Francis a year ago.

The non-Italian cardinals, in particular, believed that reports of turf battles and infighting in the central administration of the 1.2 billion member Church were undermining its credibility in dealing with issues such as sexual abuse of minors by clerics.

"It is not an exaggeration to say that there was a systemic disorder in the Curia under Benedict," said Alberto Melloni, a Church historian and director of the John XXIII Foundation for Religious Studies in Bologna.

"The view of cardinals who came to Rome to elect a new pope last year was of a Secretariat of State that had accumulated too much power over the years," said a top Vatican official who spoke on the condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the conclave.

During Benedict's papacy, the Curia was broadly divided into factions: supporters of Bertone and of his predecessor Sodano.

Sodano, a longtime diplomat, had served as secretary of state from 1991 to 2006. In the final years of the papacy of John Paul II, who died in 2005, Sodano essentially ran the Church as the pontiff's health deteriorated.

Bertone had no experience in diplomacy when he replaced Sodano in 2006. He had a disproportionate influence on internal Vatican affairs, insiders say, and alienated some who believed he had lowered the Vatican's international profile.

One of the letters leaked by Benedict's butler in 2012 revealed a clash between Bertone and Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano. Vigano went over Bertone's head and wrote a letter to Benedict complaining of corruption in the Vatican. Bertone later transferred a reluctant Vigano to Washington.

Bertone brought in Italian banker Ettore Gotti Tedeschi in 2009 to become president of the Vatican Bank with a mandate to make the bank's finances more transparent. But then Bertone resisted attempts to put the bank under more independent oversight, according to several Vatican officials. Gotti Tedeschi was ousted in 2012.

"In the end, things were starting to get very dangerous, because all of the financial activities were concentrated in hands or in the hands of men loyal to him," said Massimo Franco, columnist and author of the new book "The Vatican According to Francis".

Bertone, 79, has denied accusations of being power hungry and a bad manager, telling reporters last year that he had been the victim of "vipers" in the Vatican. He could not be reached for comment because he was out of Rome on a spiritual retreat. Sodano, 86, was also unavailable for comment.

CLIQUES AND SOCIAL CLIMBERS

"Francis is trying to make deep reforms in the Curia ... but this will take some time," said Spanish Cardinal Julian Herranz, one of the three prelates who wrote a secret report for Benedict on the "Vatileaks" scandal.

Since Francis's election, the pope has publicly warned his cardinals to shun intrigue and cliques. Last May, he said in a speech that there was no room for "social climbers or careerists" in the Church hierarchy. He has urged cardinals not to behave as if they lived in "a royal court".

"He said: 'Don't take this (being a cardinal) as an honor, don't take this as a promotion, don't take this as a privilege,'" said Cardinal Vincent Nichols, the Archbishop of Westminster in London.

Francis fired his first salvo across the bow of the Vatican bureaucracy just one month into his papacy when he named an advisory board of eight cardinals from around the world to help him govern the Church and reform the Curia.

The board has an open-ended mandate and reports directly to the pope. Six months later Francis appointed Parolin.

A 59-year-old who has worked in the Vatican's diplomatic service since 1986, the new secretary had served as deputy foreign minister under Pope John Paul. His last post was nuncio, or ambassador, in Venezuela, where he guided the Vatican's delicate relations with the late President Hugo Chavez.

In an interview with an Italian newspaper after his appointment, Parolin said it was unfair to depict the Curia as "a place where conspiracies and power plays prevail".

But he said Vatican bureaucrats should "work hard to become more humane, more welcoming, more evangelical, which is what Pope Francis wants".

Those who know Parolin say he will have no difficultly sharing power with others at the top in the Curia and helping reshape the secretary of state's role into that of a first among equals rather than an all-powerful "vice pope".

"I think that one of the most important things about Parolin is that he doesn't have any interest in power for its own sake," said Nigel Baker, the British ambassador to the Vatican.

This seems like a positive development...

I'm still concerned about the "reformation" of the Legionaries of Christ under Pope Francis. Also, the overhaul of the IOR seems to be quite suspicious. If the transparency initiative does indeed go forward as planned, it's really just a question of where they moved the money beforehand.

On His Holiness’s public service

Can the man who cleaned up one tiny state do the same for another?

Oct 20th 2012

RENÉ BRÜLHART made his name as head of Liechtenstein’s financial-intelligence unit. Thanks to his diligence in rooting out financial crime over the past eight years, the tiny European principality, nestled between Switzerland and Austria, is no longer widely condemned as a haven for dirty money. This success, combined with his good looks, led one magazine to dub the 40-year-old Swiss lawyer the James Bond of the financial world.

His latest job might unnerve even 007: Mr Brülhart has been recruited to clean up the Vatican’s reputation. For years allegations of financial shenanigans have swirled around the Institute for Works of Religion, commonly known as the Vatican Bank. The bank is modest in size: as of last November it had just €6.3 billion ($8.3 billion) in assets, 33,400 accounts and 13 ATMs (for use by its own clients, which comprise religious organisations and individuals, Holy See lay employees and foreign countries’ embassies). But it also has features that make it alluring to money-launderers: an evaluation in July by Moneyval, the Council of Europe’s anti-money-laundering group, pointed to high volumes of cash transactions, global activities and limited information on many organisations operating in the Vatican.

In the latest scandal, its president, Ettore Gotti Tedeschi, was sacked in May. He and his former employer are now caught up in a money-laundering investigation led by Naples prosecutors. Mr Gotti Tedeschi has denied wrongdoing, saying the reason he was fired was that he got “too close to the truth” about the bank’s dealings. Only in December 2010 did Pope Benedict XVI issue a so-called Motu Proprio outlawing money-laundering and the financing of terrorism.

Mr Brülhart’s challenge is the same as it was in Liechtenstein: to get his client onto the all-important “white list” of territories that are deemed to comply with the standards on combating financial crime set by the OECD, a club of rich and emerging economies. First, he will need to build a financial-intelligence unit that can investigate suspicious money flows properly. The Vatican has a group that is supposed to do this but it has made little progress, not least because its people lack training.

Second, he will need to create a truly independent supervising authority for the Vatican Bank and the Administration of the Patrimony of the Apostolic See, which manages the Vatican’s property and securities holdings. A supervisor-of-sorts created by Benedict in 2010, the Financial Information Authority (FIA), lacks the legal powers and independence necessary to monitor and sanction these financial institutions, according to Moneyval. The FIA has no clear right to demand access to books for accounts or other information, for instance. Overall, the Vatican was compliant or largely compliant with only nine of Moneyval’s 16 core standards, proving deficient in areas such as customer due diligence and the reporting of suspicious transactions.

Mr Brülhart has the right pedigree to help. During his time transforming Liechtenstein’s bad-boy image, he was involved in the return of assets owned by the regime of Saddam Hussein to the new Iraqi government, as well as in uncovering the Siemens bribery scandal. His efforts were recognised by his peers in 2010, when he was appointed deputy head of the Egmont Group, a network of national financial-intelligence agencies. His strong Catholic credentials should also help. He even studied canon law as a student in Fribourg. He is said to have the strong backing of Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, the Vatican’s powerful secretary of state, who hired him.

But he faces unique challenges. The Holy See’s financial institutions are not straightforward commercial organisations, but “canonically recognised” public entities created to serve the church. It is hard to introduce the sort of rules that brought Liechtenstein’s banks to heel. And though he may have the support of the pope’s right-hand man, he is still an outsider trying to shake up the financial affairs of an ecclesiastical city-state that is notoriously resistant to change and external interference. He will need Bond-like cunning to complete his mission.

Fewer than two dozen of the 180 countries accredited to the Vatican have accounts at the IOR; many Western states such as the United States and Britain do not.

Reuters has learned that the Financial Information Authority [AIF], the Holy See's financial watchdog, wrote to the IOR in the second half of 2011 expressing its concern over several cash withdrawals and deposits by the embassies of Iran, Iraq and Indonesia, according to the people with knowledge of the situation.

The transactions - which were registered at the Vatican border in line with Vatican and European Union requirements that amounts of more than 10,000 euros in cash or equivalent be declared at customs - caught the eye of the AIF because of their origin, frequency and amounts. Iran, Iraq and Indonesia are classified by international institutions and governance bodies as countries at high risk of financial crimes. The Holy See's regulators also thought the justifications for the withdrawals, including one that simply said “personnel,” were vague, these people said. It was not clear where the money for the cash deposits came from.

The Iranian and Iraqi embassies to the Vatican said they had no comment on the cash movements or the concerns raised by regulators.

The Indonesian ambassador to the Vatican, Bahar Budiarman, said that his embassy takes out up to 10,000 euros at a time from its IOR account and that the money is destined for personal use and petty cash. For bigger amounts, wire transfers are used, said Budiarman, who has been ambassador since early 2012.

An IOR spokesman stated in emails that the bank does not comment on matters concerning the AIF and that the IOR had no comment on the possible closure of embassy accounts.

The AIF said that “it does not give details about cases it investigates and does not comment on the... review of the bank.”

It's definitely "petty cash" compared to what we know the Vatican bank is hiding, but the involvement of those specific countries brings to mind those giant unaccountable bales of cash that were floating around in Iraq and Afghanistan a few years back.

What does it say about my opinion of the Vatican that I almost didn't even bother posting this?

Christians and Muslims join forces to combat modern slavery

VATICAN CITY Mon Mar 17, 2014

(Reuters) - The Roman Catholic Church, Church of England and al-Azhar, the Cairo-based seat of Sunni Muslim learning, came together on Monday for a rare display of interfaith action among them in calling for an end to modern slavery within 20 years.

Their joint statement setting up the "Global Freedom Network" they declared that "physical, economic and sexual exploitation of men, women and children" trapped 30 million people worldwide in slavery.

As well as establishing a world day of prayer for victims of slavery, the faiths agreed to "slavery-proof their supply chains and investments and to take remedial action if necessary" and press governments and companies to do the same.

Relations between the Vatican and the Church of England are cordial, even though they differ over women bishops and gay issues, while Rome's ties to al-Azhar are thawing after three years of frosty separation.

Bishop Marcelo Sanchez Sorondo, who signed the document for the Vatican, said Pope Francis had described human trafficking and modern-day slavery, raging from forced sex work to indentured agricultural labor, as a "crime against humanity".

He said the rare example of cooperation between the Catholic and Anglican communities and al-Azhar in Cairo could help build closer ties between the faiths.

"I think it's the first time we have worked together like this," he told journalists at the signing ceremony, adding that interfaith relations required careful study and treatment.

"But for other questions, human questions, the common values of humanity we can work together and this can be important for the theoretical path," he said.

CHALLENGE TO UNITE FOR POOR

Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, head of the Church of England and the spiritual leader of the worldwide Anglican Communion, said in a statement that Anglicans and Catholic had been in close dialogue with each other since 1966.

"We are now being challenged in these days to find more profound ways of putting our ministry and mission where our faith is and being called into a deeper unity on the side of the poor and in the cause of the justice and righteousness of God," he said.

"We are struggling against evil in secret places and in deeply entrenched networks of malice and cruelty."

Al-Azhar froze relations with Rome in 2011 after then-Pope Benedict condemned attacks on Christians in Egypt, Iraq and Nigeria and said they showed the need for better protection of religious minorities in those countries.

Mahmoud Azab, who signed the agreement for al-Azhar's Grand Imam Sheikh Ahmed el-Tayeb, said the experience of the past three years of strained relations with the Vatican had shown that meeting simply to talk "was not sufficient".

After the election of Pope Francis a year ago, he said, "as soon as we saw positive signs, we resumed (contacts) right away. We were just looking for an agenda."

The initiative was associated with the Walk Free Foundation, a charity set up by Australian iron ore mining magnate Andrew Forrest to combat modern-day slavery.

Forrest said the campaign was not connected with efforts to improve conditions for low-paid workers around the world, which he said was a separate issue from slavery. But Azab said that minimally paid work could "prepare the ground" for slavery.

"I consider that being very badly paid, having a very, very low salary is part of slavery," he said. "Profiting from the needs of human beings, taking all their effort and energy without paying or paying very little, is part of slavery."

Legionaries are Pope Francis’ problem now

By John L. Allen Jr. - February 15, 2014

It’s a measure of how bad things have become for the scandal-plagued Legionaries of Christ that the first question a journalist feels obliged to ask the religious order’s new leader is, “Have you ever sexually abused anyone?”

For the record, the answer of Father Eduardo Robles Gil Orvañanos was, “I can promise, swear, whatever you want, that I haven’t. . . it would make no sense at all for us to put someone in a leadership position with something to hide.”

Robles spoke in a Feb. 14 interview with the Globe, his first with an English-language news outlet.

The Legionaries not so long ago were a Catholic powerhouse, a body of gung-ho priests enjoying the support of Pope John Paul II and other Vatican heavyweights and wielding vast political and financial muscle. The order fell from grace after revelations that its founder had lived a shocking double life, including having relationships with two women and fathering up to six children, as well as sexual abuse of young seminarians and, reportedly, even two of his own children.

The founder, Mexican Father Marcial Maciel Degollado, died in 2008. The bombshell about his misconduct, along with scandals involving other prominent Legionaries, makes the order the most polarizing symbol of the broader sexual abuse crisis in Catholicism. A recent Associated Press report described the Legionaries as “one of the most egregious examples of how . . . church leaders put the interests of the institution above those of the victims.”

Some critics, including some of the order’s former members, called for it to be abolished. Benedict XVI instead placed it under papal receivership in 2010, installing a papal delegate to promote reform. That process concluded with the Jan. 20 election of Robles, a 61-year-old priest and formerly the top Legionaries official in Mexico.

Given that history, it’s obviously relevant to wonder if Maciel’s successor has any skeletons in his own closet.

In his Globe interview, Robles insisted there aren’t. He also claimed he wasn’t in on the coverup regarding Maciel, saying that he’s spent his career in the field, mostly in Latin America, and that he only learned the truth in 2008 when one of the order’s officials told him.

Robles pledged that the Legionaries are now committed to zero tolerance for sexual abuse, including a rigorous commitment to transparency.

“We’re fully committed to creating a safe environment in all of our schools and in everything we do,” he told the Globe.

Whatever one makes of Robles’s guarantees, one point is crystal clear: The Legionaries are Pope Francis’ problem now.

Heretofore, one could fault Pope John Paul II for not taking the charges against Maciel seriously, or blame Benedict XVI for appointing a delegate, Italian Cardinal Velasio De Paolis, who has, in the eyes of critics, produced reforms that are more cosmetic than substantive. In any event, none of it could be laid in Francis’ lap.

Now, however, Francis has placed his fingerprints on the order’s future.

In May, he sent a letter offering “a word of encouragement,” and in August he named a prominent member of the Legionaries to the number two position in the Vatican City State. By ratifying the results of the recent elections, he’s signaled that the Legionaries are ready to get back to business, so from here on, it’s his reputation on the line.

Robles said Francis passed on a “very warm” message about his election, and that the Legionaries feel “totally supported” by the pope.

A quote from that "Vatican shake-up" article I posted above:

"Redefining the secretary of state's role is a central part of Francis's agenda to clean up the Curia, the administration of the Holy See, following a series of scandals in 2012, the last full year of Benedict's pontificate.

A new department overseeing Vatican finances will now report directly to the pope. To head it, Francis chose an Australian who had never worked in Rome, Cardinal George Pell, a man far removed from the Italian-dominated Curia."

About Pell...

viewtopic.php?p=536144#p536144

It is seen as a plum posting for Cardinal Pell, who will relocate to the Vatican by the end of next month.

Robert Mickens, the Vatican correspondent for Catholic weekly The Tablet, says Cardinal Pell will play a key role in putting the Vatican's expenditures in a more transparent and fiscally sound light.

"It's a brand new position that's been created; it's a top level Vatican post," he said.

"In some ways, you might say, he's the chancellor of the exchequer, in a sense, from the Vatican's point of view."

Cardinal 'sociopathic' in his lack of understanding

Stuart Rintoul The Australian November 24, 2012

THE father of two Catholic abuse victims says Archbishop George Pell showed a "sociopathic lack of empathy" when his family approached the church about the abuse.

Anthony Foster told the Victorian parliament's abuse inquiry how two of his daughters, Emma and Katie, were abused by convicted pedophile priest Kevin O'Donnell and of the "gruelling" meeting with Archbishop Pell that ensued.

"In our interactions with the now-Cardinal Archbishop Pell, we experienced a sociopathic lack of empathy, typifying the attitude and responses of the church hierarchy," Mr Foster said.

John Howard, George Pell cited in Breivik diatribe

Leo Shanahan The Australian July 26, 2011

THE gunman responsible for the Norway massacre described former Australian prime minister John Howard as "one of the most sensible leaders in the Western World" in his rambling 1500-page manifesto.

Anders Behring Breivik, who is believed to be responsible for the deaths of 93 people, also mentioned former treasurer Peter Costello, Catholic archbishop of Sydney Cardinal George Pell and conservative historian Keith Windschuttle in his manifesto released before he embarked upon his violent rampage.

The 32-year-old described Mr Howard as "one of the most sensible leaders in the Western world" and commended the former government on its border protection policy and being "resistant to Political Correctness".

"Luckily, not all Christian leaders are appeasers of Islam. One of the intelligent ones comes from Australia, a country that has been fairly resistant to Political Correctness .

[...]

Writing under the pseudonym Andrew Berwick and describing himself as "Justiciar Knight Commander for Knights Templar Europe and one of several leaders of the National and pan-European Patriotic Resistance Movement", he also cited comments from Sydney Catholic archbishop George Cardinal Pell in the wake of the 2001 September 11 attacks.

"George Cardinal Pell, archbishop of Sydney, tells of how September 11 was a wake-up call for him personally," he wrote, before quoting the archbishop.

Cardinal's vast luxury apartment in Vatican angers Pope

Former Vatican secretary of state is combining two apartments for a 6,500 square foot residence just as Francis urges clergy to adopt a more modest lifestyle

By Josephine McKenna, Rome

8:57PM BST 20 Apr 2014

The Vatican's former secretary of state has reportedly angered Pope Francis with his plans to move into a luxury 6,500 square foot apartment as the pope urges clergy to adopt a more modest lifestyle.

Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, 79, was secretary of state from 2006 to 2013 and briefly in charge of the Holy See and its administration when Pope Benedict XVI suddenly resigned last February.

After his election Pope Francis appointed Cardinal Pietro Parolin to replace him as secretary of state.

According to the Italian daily La Repubblica, Cardinal Bertone's lavish restructure of an apartment in the San Carlo Palace inside the walls of the Vatican is causing unease.

The flat is located next door to St Martha's Residence - the simple Vatican hotel where Francis has made his home after spurning the ostentatious Apostolic Palace where popes usually live on the other side of St.Peter's Square.

La Repubblica said the cardinal's new apartment includes a large rooftop terrace and would be about 10 times bigger than Pope Francis' home once extensive renovations have been completed this summer.

The cardinal is combining two apartments, one measuring 4,300 square feet formerly inhabited by the head of the gendarmerie and another flat where a Vatican monsignor lived, the article claimed. Three nuns who worked with him while he was Vatican secretary of state are also to live in his new residence.

Adding this here, excerpt from a post by semper occultus that probably didn't get enough attention:

Pope, Jesuits and Anglicans refuse to deny criminal charges made against them – Trial to proceed as shocking new evidence suggests Joseph Ratzinger still wields power at the Vatican – Ratzinger and others are named as members of a child abuse cult

http://itccs.org/2014/03/22/pope-jesuits-and-anglicans-refuse-to-deny-criminal-charges-made-against-them-trial-to-proceed-as-shocking-new-evidence-suggests-joseph-ratzinger-still-wields-power-at-the-vatican/

Trial against Pope Proceeds amidst Shocking Evidence
http://youtu.be/5CH50V3uBp0

Brussels and Rome:

After being publicly charged with child trafficking and criminal conspiracy on March 4 and served a Public Summons, the head officers of the Vatican, the Jesuits, and the Church of England have refused to deny or contest the charges and will therefore face criminal prosecution commencing March 31.

The announcement came today as the deadline to respond to a Common Law Court Summons lapsed on Tuesday without any communication from the primary defendants: Pope Francis, Jorge Bergoglio, Jesuit Superior General Adolfo Pachon, and Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby.

“Their silence is very telling and extremely important legally” said Court Secretary George Dufort from Brussels.

“Our Prosecutor’s Office has the power now to proceed with its case and waive the normal examination procedure, since the defendants are not disputing the charges and are thereby tacitly admitting their guilt. The Court Magistrates will enter a plea of nolo contendere by the defendants into the court record and have every right to rule against them in their absence.”

This startling development occurred as even more shocking news surfaced today in Rome that the allegedly former Pope Benedict, Joseph Ratzinger, actually retains power at the Vatican, and that since at least 1962 has been a member of a child abuse cult known as the Corona Novem, or The Ninth Circle (or Crown).

Francesco Zanardi of the ITCCS affiliate Rete L’Abuso in Savona, Italy said in an interview last week,

“We know from several Cardinals that Pope Francis is a caretaker figurehead who is not actually the Pope. It’s all been a huge deception. Francis doesn’t wear the papal ring and lives in a convent in Rome, not in the Vatican. He is given no official security and wanders about like a private individual. And he makes policy statements which the Curia of Cardinals then disavow, saying Francis doesn’t reflect church doctrine. And all the top appointments have been Germans or those connected to Ratzinger, who continues to speak to reporters like he’s still the Pope.”

Public Information Update from The Prosecutor’s Office of The International Common Law Court of Justice

Posted on April 17, 2014

Bulletin No. 3: Thursday, April 17, 2014 – 10 pm GMT

In the Matter of the People v. Bergoglio, Pachon, Welby and others charged with global child trafficking and ritual murder

Summary:

The Court adjourns for two weeks after the first round in the Prosecutor’s Case discloses the startling testimony of eight witnesses.

Two separate witnesses describe their alleged rape and ritual torture by chief defendant Jorge Bergoglio (alias “Pope Francis”) in 2009 and 2010.

The Chief Prosecutor establishes a link between the British, Dutch and Belgian royal families and the disappearances and killing of Mohawk children at the Church of England’s Brantford Indian residential school in Canada.

Jesuit records are introduced as evidence detailing the so-called “Magisterial Privilege” decreeing papal involvement in “Ninth Circle” ritual murder of newborn children. The same records identify Joseph Ratzinger as a member of the “Knights of Darkness” S.S. sacrificial cult during World War Two.

ITCCS Field Secretary Kevin Annett is scheduled to testify before the Court during its second round of sessions in early May to corroborate witnesses’ testimonies from his own work and experience.

A prominent Vatican official initiates back channel communication with the Court and offers key evidence, as Magistrates consider extending closed Court sessions during May.

The Court and its affiliates will issue an Easter Proclamation this Sunday, April 20 and endorse public actions at the Vatican and Catholic churches across the world. Rev. Kevin Annett will lead a public ceremony of “exorcism and replacement” at a prominent Catholic cathedral on that day.

The Details:

Following eight days of Court procedure and the commencement of the Citizen Prosecutor’s case against the three chief defendants, the first Common Law adjudication of evidence concerning global child trafficking has adjourned for two weeks, until 10 am GMT on Monday, May 5, 2014.

Commencing on Tuesday, April 8 after an opening Court session the day before, the case by the Citizen Prosecutor’s Office presented evidence directly linking all three chief defendants with the planning and execution of child trafficking networks within the Roman Catholic and Anglican churches, and with the practice and concealment of the ritual rape, torture and killing of children.

Along with considerable documentation, the Prosecutor introduced notarized affidavit statements from eight eyewitnesses to these crimes, including videotaped interviews with two adolescent women who claim to have been tortured and raped by chief defendant Jorge Bergoglio, alias “Pope Francis”, during the spring of 2009 and 2010, at horrific cult functions connected to the “Ninth Circle” child sacrifice network.

[...]

These killings span over seventy years and include the period between 1942 and 1945 when exiled Dutch Queen Wilhemina and her family lived in Canada, and participated in Ninth Circle rituals at the Mohawk Indian school.

Introduced documentation* indicates that, to assist and conceal such involvement of Dutch “royals” in these cult killings, the Canadian government and Privy Council Office in London granted “extra-territorial exemption” to the Dutch royals from all criminal, civil and military jurisdiction while in Canada. (* The Canada Gazette , Issue No. 232, December 26, 1942, Ottawa)

Dutch and Belgian royal participants in the rape and killing of Mohawk children and newborns included Bilderberger founder Crown Prince Bernhard and King Hendrick, consort to Queen Wilhelmina of Holland.

As part of the Prosecutor’s corroborating evidence, secret archives from the Jesuit Order were introduced into the Court record that describe in detail the so-called “Magisterial Privilege” compelling the participation of every new Pope in the Ninth Circle sacrifice of new born children.

The records suggest that the Ninth Circle was established by the Jesuits just prior to their staged “disbandment” in 1773 and their establishment three years later of the so-called Illuminati cult, although references are also made to organized child sacrifice rituals at Catholic cathedrals in Rome as early as the year 1528.

The Chief Prosecutor told the Court,

“These archives clearly indicate a premeditated plan for centuries by the Jesuits to ritually murder kidnapped newborn babies and then consume their blood, born of a twisted notion of deriving spiritual power from the lifeblood of the innocent and thereby assuring the political stability of the Papacy in Rome. Every Pope was expected to and did in fact participate in these monstrous rituals … These acts are not only genocidal but systemic and institutionalized in nature, and indict the Roman Catholic Church and the Jesuits as a whole, and every Pope since at least in the year 1773.”

The same collection of Jesuit archival records make reference to a child sacrificial cult known as The Knights of Darkness, established by the Nazi Waffen S.S. Division in 1933 with Jesuit backing. The archives identify former Pope Benedict, Joseph Ratzinger, as a member of the Knights and as an S.S. Chaplain’s assistant at the Ravensbruck concentration camp in Germany, where he participated in sacrificial rites using children transported to the camp or kidnapped from political prisoners.

The latter practice was a common Jesuit undertaking in Spain, Argentina and other fascist regimes, and one implicating chief defendant Jorge Bergoglio while he was a priest, Bishop and front man for the military junta in Argentina during the 1970′s.

ITCCS Field Secretary Kevin Annett is scheduled to appear as a witness during the second session of the Court commencing Monday, May 5. Annett will provide thorough corroborating evidence and personal testimony to support the Prosecutor’s case and the evidence concerning the Brantford killings, gained over twenty years’ work with residential school survivors in Canada, including during his targeted persecution by church and state. (www,hiddennolonger.com)

Meanwhile, in startling related news, a senior Vatican official initiated a back channel communication with the Court last week in order to offer key evidence to the Prosecutor’s Office concerning its case against the chief defendants.

The Vatican official has requested strict anonymity and security, prompting the Court Magistrates to consider extending the closed sessions of the Court during its next round in May.

Finally, this Easter Sunday, April 20, the Court and its affiliates in twenty one countries will issue a Public Proclamation to be read at Catholic churches in Rome and dozens of other cities.

Rev. Kevin Annett will lead a public ceremony of “Exorcism and Replacement” at a central Catholic facility on that day, and similar ceremonies will be held at the Vatican and at many other catholic churches. Details of the event will be posted this Sunday evening GMT at http://www.itccs.org .

Stay updated regarding further Court and related news at http://www.itccs.org and http://www.iclcj.com .

I know that lurid accusations like these need extraordinary proof, and am withholding all judgment on this. I'd like to know more about the documentation.

Here's what I don't get. Why would the Vatican "replace" one "child trafficking" pope with another "child trafficking" pope if their mission is to quell potential sedition? It doesn't make sense. Moreover, why is Kevin Annett still breathing? Why aren't the Vatican assassins on this? Why didn't they get him a long time ago, when he was exposing the Canadian Holocaust?

I watched Annett's documentary on the Canadian Holocaust in which he provides undeniable evidence that the genocide and exploitation of aboriginal peoples did occur, but the accusations he's making now are so extreme--chopping up newborns on a Satanic alter-- that he better come up with significant proof, otherwise, it diminishes the impact of real claims, making those of us who believe that the pedophocracy is, indeed, very real, appear to be raving lunatics. I mean, there are far too many so-called "activists" who are very good at peppering lies in with what is mostly the truth in order to bring ridicule from the public, not to mention create division between people who are really seeking to help their fellow man. Not that Annett is doing this, or if he is, is even aware that that's what he's doing ...he very well may be in the process of being set up as a "useful Idiot".

Yes, I'm staying very much on guard on this one. Partially why I posted about the Legionaries of Christ & Maciel at the same time: it's much more concrete and immediately damning.

Though "notarized affidavit statements from eight eyewitnesses to these crimes, including videotaped interviews with two adolescent women" does make these claims seem pretty substantial, from one side of things.

Why aren't the Vatican assassins on this?

One particularly credulous site reported this with the statement that "the Vatican had released a Jesuit "hit squad" to disrupt proceedings."

Maybe, but I don't think that's enough for even the aware and informed. A thoroughly checked out history of these eight eyewitnesses and their affiliations is a good start. I just find it hard to believe that the Pope, or Jorge Bergoglio, was raping and torturing adolescent women in front of eyewitnesses while at the same time, chopping up newborn babies and drinking their blood, as late as 2010. If he's that evil, why not kill all these potential eyewitnesses?

To me, it appears as if the ITCCS--or Kevin Annett-- is hyping this trial with extreme claims that are impossible to prove, especially against a very popular Pope. Does Annett really believe he can arrest the Pope and the Queen of England? False hope, anyone? Nevertheless, it seems a bit delusional. Yeah, the more I think about this whole thing the more I think Kevin's ego either clouds his judgment or is the story, especially after I found out the Mohawk nation, or the Elders of Kanyen’kehá:ka Nation relieved Kevin Annett of all further authority and took back the name they gave him, which was Rawennatshani.

Excerpt of Declaration Of Position- Kanyen’kehá:ka Nation, Turtle Clan Elders, May 29, 2012

They had hoped that they could bring closure and justice to families and survivors of Residential Schools.

The Elders declaration was clear when they said the following: There is no doubt that many children died as a result and furthermore there are no marked graves on the school grounds in the 120 years or so in the operation of the schools ( Residential Schools). Records are missing into the cause of death and all we have are eyewitness reports of murder. ( Of Indian Children in Residential Schools).

We were given the promise of Kevin Annett that he would bring qualified licensed archaeologists to conduct searches for the graves. Under that understanding we the Mohawk Nation members at Kanata villiage gave authorization to proceed with this investigation. The women of the Mohawk Nation also made a declaration at that time which reads in part, we have mandated Bill Squires, Kevin Annett, Frank Miller and ( sorry couldn’t catch this other name) to lead this investigation. All decisions regarding this process will be ” approved” by the women in collaboration with Bill, Kevin, Frank and ( again didn’t catch the name to transcribe). including the research team, other resources, equipment, media and media releases. We ask that everyone respect this decision and do nothing to obstruct or interfere with this research.

We are ever mindful of the spirits there, and our objective is to bring closure to them so they continue their journey.

Do to the sensitive and confidential nature of this investigation and in retrospect of public statements made by Kevin Annett who on video, news broadcasts, radio interviews, web pages, including email postings sent under the name of Jeremiah Jourdain breached confidentiality without authorization.

We the Elders of Kanyen’kehá:ka Nation have no recourse except to relieve Kevin Annett of all further authority in this matter and any further obligations to us and any further obligations to him including protection under Kanyen’kehá:ka law inside the whole territory, which includes all of the territory, Lake Ontario, Lake Erie, Thousands Islands, and all of Vermont which was set forth in our initial and subsequent authorization.

His name given which was Rawennatshani, is officially taken back and reverts back to the Clan mother family this day forward May 20, 2012 and may not be used again in any way.

Any and all further media releases about this investigation remains under the authority and restrictions of the Mohawk Nation.

All persons releasing info on this investigation from this day forward may be held liable.

Also, I found this from John Deegan of Ireland (ACCAW), a former supporter of ITCCS and of Kevin Annett. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/wethejury/ ... vin-annett

I got involved in supporting Rev Kevin Annett, like many people in the belief that he was doing good work in relation to many issues in Canada that I felt needed highlighting in Ireland and took part in a protest at the Canadian embassy in Dublin in April 2011 with members of ITCCS Ireland (which is a group that was affiliated with Rev Kevin Annett .but not under his control)

Unfortunately I did not do my homework on Rev Annett for a period of over two years that resulted in me believing his lies and taking his side against people that I now know to be good and genuine people who have now been proven right about everything that the were saying about Rev Annett. People like Lydia Whitecalf, her family, and people like Nell Cole, Greg Renouf and Heather Martin.

I became more than suspicious about Rev Annett in May of this year, especially when he visited Dublin and I accompanied him into The Pro Cathedral and witnessed his docile, cavalier attitude, where instead of confronting the administrator with his ‘warrants’ and/or addressing the congregation he allowed himself to be quietly brushed aside.
In June my suspicions were heightened when he asked me in an e-mail (and to ITCCS Ireland members) to remove Greg Renouf from the internet and later denied this and was assisted in this denial by his father Bill suggesting that WE remove Mr Renouf,as ‘Kevin doesn’t get involved in matters like this’.

Then in September of this year I discovered that Rev Kevin Annett was supporting other ’causes’ and people that I did not agree with and I immediately withdrew my support both in an e-mail to him and on Facebook. As a result of this I was informed that Rev Annett was using my name as a convener of his Tribunal, something that I played no part in. I was informed also that two members of ITCCS Ireland were also being used in this manner and I contacted them and they confirmed that they played no part in this Tribunal either.

As a result of me demanding from Rev Annett that he immediately remove my name from his Tribunal I became the victim of derogatory e-mails from him and also the victim of what has now obviously become his trade mark when challenged – the victim of a smear campaign.

This was firstly done in an e-mail from Rev Annett to members of what he calls his ‘inner circle’,warning that I had become a ‘hired gun’ and then again, using the false name of George Dufort he made a public statement alluding to this on his website on the 10/10/2013.

Further research and information since then has shown that Rev Annett is the driving force behind a smear campaign against me since November 2011 where he carefully masterminded a website and Facebook page run by a woman who goes by the name of ‘Aris Arnelle Durcocher’ (aka PaganMediabites) that would weaken my personal work, force me to depend on him, blame me for being the mastermind behind the Jason Bowman fiasco AND help him gain popularity and sympathy as a ‘victim’ of a smear campaign. He proudly boasted in an e-mail to me that he gains in this manner from smear campaigns.

Let us not underestimate the intelligence and deviousness of Rev Kevin Annett and his use of his clerical training that now shows his behaviour is comparable to the very same clerics he claims to oppose, who for years branded victims of abuse as liars and having mental problems when they were confronted with the truth.

Mental homes all over the world were filled with innocent people who dared to speak out when the word of a cleric was taken without ever a look for evidence and facts.
We will never know the total list of innocent victims that were incarcerated in mental homes during the reign of Archbishop of Dublin and Primate of Ireland John Charles Mc Quaid (1940-1971)

I was faced with the same allegation by Rev Annett that I too have mental problems just because I challenged him in September 2013
Also let us not underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups and the influence that Rev Annett has over such people as was proven by his use of PaganMediabites.

Yes there is a certain bravery in confronting Rev Annett because he has no problem in lying through his teeth to smear those who do and yes there is a price to pay given what we know now about him and who his sponsors may be; but to continue to support him or quietly walk away is not an option I would choose.

I have apologised to those I hurt through my actions in supporting Rev Annett and I apologised also to those that I refused to listen to who were warning me about this man.
I am delighted to see now that so many people are coming forward to speak out about their own actions in supporting Rev Annett.

It will be interesting now to see how Rev Annett will respond to the many truths being spoken about a man that openly boasts of working with Roman Catholic Cardinals from the Vatican Curia as part of a palace coup against Ratzinger on the 20/09/2012 (no mention of arresting him) and is now aligned with 20 Roman Catholic Priests in Ireland as part of a group named Not In Our Name (NON).

Considering the vast amount of child abusing clerics we have here in Ireland who have never been convicted for their crimes, those who have escaped the sex offenders register and the amount of Cardinals in the Vatican who have covered up the crimes of their clerics, one would be entitled to ask questions of Rev Annett about the company he keeps and his motives for keeping such company.

Yes indeed – it’s interesting how Rev Kevin Annett,a defrocked United churches minister from Canada, who was recommended for a psychiatric evaluation by his church could find himself in such a position.

John Deegan

and from a "juror":

Who is Kevin Annett?
Dodgy at the least – beyond any defensive level.
I am listed as a tribunal member and was listed as a juror until I complained that I had never seen a case even though the “tribunal” has allegedly already convicted the first “dirty 30″.
I asked to be removed.
Kevin stated that it wasn’t up to him even though HE is Jerimiah Jordain and George Dufour.
There is no tribunal in Brussels and there never was.
Kevin stated to my children and I that he was forming a tribunal with us but told the residential school survivors Steemas and Watsuk that the tribunal was a world court in Brussels.
He avoided answering our questions about all of the inconsistencies using political sidestepping.
Every time.
We are all fed up with him.
He didn’t show at the Bogus Truth and Reconciliation Gathering/Event in Vancouver to answer questions a few of the residential school survivors had for him after agreeing to be there Saturday (September 21st) the previous day.
The pattern of him missing appointments due to other “appointments” and his lack of empathy and respect toward toward the people he is allegedly standing up for is profound.
Kevin introduced his roommate Carol to Steemas, Watsuk, my children and I as his wife. When Steemas called her about his concerns she told him she was furious about it.
When Watsuk’s son Tulsii’m Kia’palanexw – the real/rightful Chief Capilano from three bloodlines – had questions Kevin’s response was “What’s his problem? Fuck him.”
When Steemas, Watsuk, my children and I were at the Catholic Church at Richards and Dunsmuir Kevin stated that he was running around in the church putting flyers in the pews and the church clergy office at the time the police came.
We all knew he was lying.
You cannot ignore the patterns with regard to Kevin Annett’s lack of honesty, integrity and transparency – unless you do so deliberately.
This has been going on twenty years too long.
If you need more proof there is a very long line of activists, residential school survivors, band members from virtually every nation and a lot of people who got sucked in along the way just like we did.
Ryan Elson, Greg Renouf and Arthur Topham were right about him and I was wrong to defend him all this time.
The answer to the question Who is Kevin Annett?
Controlled opposition.

Could his open criticism and attack of the Jesuits merely be a smokescreen to confuse and disinform the masses?
One particularly credulous site reported this with the statement that "the Vatican had released a Jesuit "hit squad" to disrupt proceedings."

If the Jesuits are as powerful as everyone says, then one would think they could, at the very least, take out a rather meek man of the cloth.
