Hush money Trump’s lawyer allegedly paid Stormy Daniels broke election laws, new complaint charges

A good government group filed complaints against President Trump’s campaign charging his lawyer’s payment of hush money to a porn star who allegedly had an affair with Trump broke election laws.

Common Cause lodged the complaints with the Department of Justice and the Federal Election Commission Monday. They say the reported $130,000 payment by Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen to adult film star Stormy Daniels constituted an in kind contribution to Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign — which the campaign failed to report as election law requires.

Attorney Michael Cohen vehemently denied paying hush money to Stormy Daniels.

“The American people expect and deserve transparency when it comes to money spent to influence elections and those requirements are not optional no matter how embarrassing the reason behind the expense,” said Common Cause president Karen Hobert Flynn.

The Wall Street Journal first reported that the X-rated actress, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, got the money a month before the 2016 election as part of an agreement to keep quiet about her sexual relationship with Trump, who was married to his wife Melania at the time.

Trump's lawyer reportedly created company to pay Stormy Daniels

Cohen has vehemently denied paying hush money to Clifford and says reports about the affair are "completely false." He also circulated a letter denying an affair which he claims is signed by the actress.

In the FEC complaint, Common Cause charges the money should have been reported as an in-kind contribution to Trump’s campaign, and as an expenditure to Clifford, because the purpose of the payment was to influence the presidential election.

They also say that if the money came from the Trump Organization — the President’s private company — then it was an illegal corporate contribution to a presidential campaign

Attorney General Jeff Sessions — at the public urging of President Donald Trump — has been pressuring FBI Director Christopher Wray to fire Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, but Wray threatened to resign if McCabe was removed, according to three sources with direct knowledge.

BREAKING: New Texts From Anti-Trump FBI Agents Mention A 'SECRET SOCIETY'

New text messages from anti-Trump FBI agents reviewed by investigators reportedly make reference to a "secret society," in what could be the nail in the coffin for special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation.

Investigators have reviewed 50,000 text messages on FBI servers looking for all exchanges between anti-Trump FBI agent Peter Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page during the 2016 election, Fox News reported. The revelation comes as investigators are seeking the whereabouts of approximately five months' worth of text messages between Page and Strzok.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy told Fox News on Monday that one of the newly-revealed text messages spoke of a "secret society."

"The day after the election, the day after what they really, really didn't want to have happen, there's a text exchange between [Strzok and Page] ... saying, 'Perhaps this is the first meeting of the secret society,'" Gowdy said. "So, of course I'm going to want to know: What 'secret society' are you talking about?"

If by "interesting" you mean "irrelevant distraction", then yeah, it's VERY interesting.

FBI Agents Discussed "Secret Society" Within DOJ And FBI Working To Undermine Trump

Congressional investigators learned from a new batch of text messages between anti-Trump FBI investigators that a "secret society of folks" within the Department of Justice and the FBI may have come together in the "immediate aftermath" of the 2016 election to undermine President Trump, according to Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-TX) who has reviewed the texts.

The new texts were included in a 384-page DOJ document release to Congressional investigators last Friday - during which Congress was notified in the cover letter that that five months of text messages from December 14, 2016 to May 17, 2017 have gone missing (If only the NSA had copies).

Ratcliffe was joined by Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) to discuss the latest developments with Fox News host Martha McCallum, when Ratcliffe said:

What we learned today in the thousands of text messages that weve reviewed that perhaps they may not have done that (checked their bias at the door). There's certainly a factual basis to question whether or not they acted on that bias. We know about this insurance policy that was referenced in trying to prevent Donald Trump from becoming president.

We learned today from information that in the immediate aftermath of his election that there may have been a secret society of folks within the Department of Justice and the FBI to include Page and Strzok to be working against him.

This is a document SO EXCLUSIVE that you can download it from the Director of National Intelligence website, where it was publicly posted 8 months ago.

Jones knows his followers won't read it (99 pages? Ain't nobody got time for that). They will just take his word for what's in there and blast it all over social media.

Why is Binney sending anything to Alex Jones and why doesn't he know this? I just don't understand

EXCLUSIVE: Infowars Releases Secret FISA Memo

Update: Despite media claims to the contrary, our congressional sources confirmed that the below memo documenting NSA spying on US citizens serves as a primary source of information for the Nunes summary memo:
William Binney, former tech head of the NSA contacted us this morning to send us the link to the reportedly classified memo that lawmakers said was a blueprint of how the Obama administration and the Deep State spied on President Trump.
This memo, hiding in plain site, serves as the basis for the four-page memo of Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) which reveals perjury by the Obama administration when connected to other research.
This is the basic compendium of the NSA abuses spotlighted by Nunes:

Mark Taylor: Russia Investigation Is A Psy Op To Deceive Trump’s Enemies While He Prepares Military Tribunals For Them

By Kyle Mantyla | January 24, 2018 2:18 pm

On Monday, self-proclaimed “firefighter prophet” and right-wing conspiracy theorist Mark Taylor appeared on the “Revealing The Truth” program, where he said that the special counsel investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election is really a psychological operation designed to give President Trump’s critics a false sense of security while he prepares to establish military tribunals for them.

Taylor said that he is not worried that Attorney General Jeff Sessions appears to be doing nothing to keep the investigation away from Trump because if he is not doing his job, then “God is going to remove him” from office.

“There is some ops going on,” Taylor said, “behind the scenes that are being made to look like certain things to put the enemy at ease when, in fact, the opposite is happening, if that makes sense. Because they don’t want the enemy knowing what is happening. Donald Trump is a genius—a literal genius—this guy is ten steps ahead of everyone, he is not going to show his hand to what he is doing.”

“You don’t want your enemy knowing what you are doing ahead of time,” he continued. “So what is the most effective way? Put them at ease. So it looks like Jeff Session may not be doing anything when, in fact, he probably is.”

Taylor went on to say that an executive order signed by Trump last year giving the Air Force the authority to recall 1,000 retired pilots may really have been a cover to establish military tribunals.

“What if they are calling these guys back for the tribunals?” Taylor speculated. “Because it’s officers who sit on those tribunals … We’re not going to be told what is going on right now.”

SHEAR: You’ve talked about the impact of the wind farms on your golf course. People, experts who are lawyers and ethics experts, say that all of that is totally inappropriate, so I guess the question for you is, what do you see as the appropriate structure for keeping those two things separate, and are there any lines that you think you won’t want to cross once you’re in the White House?

TRUMP: O.K. First of all, on countries. I think that countries will not do that to us. I don’t think if they’re run by a person that understands leadership and negotiation they’re in no position to do that to us, no matter what I do. They’re in no position to do that to us, and that won’t happen, but I’m going to take a look at it. A very serious look. I want to also see how much this is costing, you know, what’s the cost to it, and I’ll be talking to you folks in the not-too-distant future about it, having to do with what just took place.

As far as the, you know, potential conflict of interests, though, I mean I know that from the standpoint, the law is totally on my side, meaning, the president can’t have a conflict of interest. That’s been reported very widely. Despite that, I don’t want there to be a conflict of interest anyway. And the laws, the president can’t. And I understand why the president can’t have a conflict of interest now because everything a president does in some ways is like a conflict of interest, but I have, I’ve built a very great company and it’s a big company and it’s all over the world. People are starting to see, when they look at all these different jobs, like in India and other things, number one, a job like that builds great relationships with the people of India, so it’s all good. But I have to say, the partners come in, they’re very, very successful people. They come in, they’d say, they said, ‘Would it be possible to have a picture?’ Actually, my children are working on that job. So I can say to them, Arthur, ‘I don’t want to have a picture,’ or, I can take a picture. I mean, I think it’s wonderful to take a picture. I’m fine with a picture. But if it were up to some people, I would never, ever see my daughter Ivanka again. That would be like you never seeing your son again. That wouldn’t be good. That wouldn’t be good. But I’d never, ever see my daughter Ivanka.

Wayne Allyn Root claims that Trump is about to take down Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and the Department of Justice: “Liberals got played. Trump is the master of WMD — weapons of mass distraction. While liberals were busy mocking Trump and responding to his tweets with insanity and hysteria, Trump outmaneuvered all of them.”

A perfect “storm:” The far right’s latest pro-Trump conspiracy theory explains everything

The Deep State, Pizzagate and the “secret society:” Your crazy racist uncle now runs the conservative movement

Nonsensical speculation about a secret but amazingly widespread anti-Trump conspiracy out has moved far beyond tales of a “conveniently” murdered voter registration staffer, however.

The latest version, which originated on the far-right troll bulletin boards of 4chan and 8chan, holds that Trump is about to launch a massive attack on all these nefarious bureaucrats based on the word of an anonymous person who posts under the pseudonym “Q” and presents himself as a White House insider.

According to Q (or QAnon as he has been dubbed by fans), an offhand remark Trump made in October about “the calm before the storm” was actually a secret tip-off from the president. He was about to go nuclear against the legions of globalist intelligence officials who have incessantly leaked tidbits about the administration and the ongoing investigations into the Trump campaign's contacts with Russians in 2016.

Never mind that the biggest White House leaker was clearly former far-right impresario Steve Bannon, not a cabal of supposedly treasonous bureaucrats, many on the right are all too eager to believe an anonymous poster on a racist-troll website because he uploaded a picture of a pen on a desk and some photos of clouds.

“The Storm” is essentially a theory of everything: It ties together tales of the Deep State gone rogue, debunked claims about a Canadian mining company called Uranium One and the ludicrous Pizzagate fabrication in which high-ranking Democrats, Wall Street financiers and celebrities like model Chrissy Teigen were secretly running a child-slavery ring out of a Washington pizza parlor.

Former FBI director James Comey and special counsel Robert Mueller are involved as well, of course — secretly working with Trump to attack the globalists via a scheme worthy of “The Dark Knight.”

Recapping the larger contours of The Storm, Will Sommer, a reporter for The Hill, explained why it has become so popular in the furthest-right corners of the internet:

“Despite The Storm’s vastness, though, the message is simple: Trump is pulling off a string of victories over his enemies, but in secret; and everything that looks like it’s bad news for Trump is actually, secretly, good news.”

Since he was so fond of the Seth Rich conspiracy theory, it is no surprise that Fox News host Sean Hannity has come very close to parroting the Q allegations. On Jan. 9, he retweeted a post from an anonymous Twitter user who provides “prophetic insights” in the form of obsessive tweets about The Storm theory.

Liz Crokin, an obscure YouTuber who has been trying to make a name for herself by fabricating stories about Teigen and others, told her viewers the next day that Hannity was doing the very best he could under pain of death.

“Let me tell you, Sean is — man, that guy has got balls,” she said, citing unspecified “inside information” that Hannity urgently wants to talk on-air about The Storm. “I’m shocked he’s still alive. I mean, it’s unbelievable he’s still alive. He has risked his life to expose what he has exposed, that no one else in the mainstream media is exposing.”
