Peak Bullshit from the government PR firm forrmerly (and still) known as the Guardian:
Almost 100 police have received psychological help after Salisbury attack

They should offer psychological help to anyone unlucky enough to come into contact with such churnalism.
Almost 100 Wiltshire police officers and staff have sought psychological support after the nerve agent attack in Salisbury, the Guardian can reveal.
"Reveal"!
Some reported feeling disorientated and anxious [i.e., some said, "What the fuck's going on 'ere?"] while others were concerned about the possible long-term health effects on the public. [Set your mind at ease, Plod. Laughter is good for the public's health.]
Wiltshire’s chief constable, Kier Pritchard, told the Guardian that officers – including himself and other police personnel continued to receive help [from MI6, presumably] more than two months after the attack.
Pritchard took up the role of head of the force on the day of the attempted murders and said he had personally received the “best support” as he worked through the implications for him and his family of being a high-profile figure in the response to a state-sponsored attack.
The bolded bit could be Inspirational Quote of the Day. Was this shit actually written by Oprah? (Also: "a state-sponsored attack"? Why so coy? Why not state
which state?)
This
is worth noting:
Pritchard took up the role of head of the force on the day of the attempted murders
Amazing coincidence. His very first day! Cometh the hour, cometh the man. Wiltshire police rarely have to deal with anything more worrying than a crop circle or an escaped cow.
