The leaves moved and made me look - out my window - where I didn’t see anything at first. Thinking the stir was probably a squirrel, I was just about to turn away when a rare coyote suddenly swirled and revealed herself to my swell li’l world.
So, trying not to scare the wild coyote - quite yet, I grabbed my camera from the kitchen counter and took some pictures for about ten minutes of a good looking canine - grooming herself and getting pretty comfortable with the sun her eyes, when suddenly I see the next door neighbor’s little grey kitty had also climbed over our six foot fence, a few feet away, and was obviously oblivious to the bigger predator prowling the area.
So, not waiting to watch the kitty get killed, I cracked the door open and scared the coyote, who quickly clambered the rickety pickets from whence it came - and disappeared.
Then, for some reason, I turned on the TV after taking those pictures, and found the film Wolfen had just begun…
which I found myself watching once again…
…all the way to the end… again
