A Bouncy Less Angry Jazz Remix of the Rage Against the Machine Anthem ‘Killing In the Name’
Musician and composer Andy Rehfeldt (previously), created a phenomenal jazz remix of the anthemic Rage Against the Machine song “Killing in the Name”. In doing this, Rehfeldt made the song seem less angry and a bit more bouncy. As with his other videos, Rehfeldt arranged and played all the instruments and Grant Cornish did the remixing.

Actually the tune is quite pleasant, the lyrics are really something else again, end times are in vogue... :shock2: :D

^That was god-awful. Praise the righteous murderer. Bless the rule of fear, violence, and terror. Remember, if someone betrays you, you can always fucking drown them. I can't breath.

It's not the music or the videos, it's the fact that the music is creating an analogue animation in real time through an oscilloscope. The idea that the illusion of form, depth and movement in these two videos comes into being the moment the music plays and disappears the moment the music ends...

You'll ever learn
Is just to love
And be loved
In return"

Roger Waters and members of his band performed a beautifully poignant rendition of the song “Mother”, each from their own home. Waters wrote the song in 1982 for the iconic Pink Floyd album The Wall. Waters, like other musicians, is staying indoors for the time being.

Social distancing is a necessary evil in COVID world. Watching “Mother” reminds me just how irreplaceable the joy of being in a band is.

Waters also performed a lovely tribute to great John Prine, who sadly passed away on April 7, 2020.

My friend John Prine died. This is his song, “Paradise”. Miss you, brother.
