I just googled. here...maybe I can find the links again.

From a french viral marketing site:

Quote:

The indian lake project
Dans quel but ? Tout le mystère est là.
L'utilisation du blog est une bonne idée pour immerger le lecteur dans l'histoire.
Buzz pour un livre, un film ou autre chose ? Difficile de dire pour le moment.

My pidgin translation:
"Here is a new viral campaign in the same spirit as "Blair Witch." A box which contains some secrets has been discovered in the woods. In this box is proof of the exploitation of children by the military. In what (way?) It's all a mystery. The utilization of the blog is a good idea to immerse the reader in history. Buzz for a book, a film or something else? Difficult to say at the moment.

link

This one in English:

Quote:
Betsy’s Phony Bologna
exploring the world of fictional weblogs

new links…
October 22, 2006
Filed under: Uncategorized — EAFRIEDR @ 12:43 pm

I updated the “blogography” page which lists most of the fictional blogs I am aware of.

Recent additions include Hilly and Fred, Indian Lake Project, Journal of an Earthborn, Horton’s Folly, The Critical Times, The Germaine Truth, and The Wonderful World of Joseph McCrumble.

Something I find interesting: Two of these links lead to fictional newspapers. The Critical Times is a Victorian Era and The Germain Truth is a mystery story for which the authors have developed an entire town, complete with newspaper, radio station, chamber of commerce, and blogs. Very cool.

I haven’t had a chance to read Indian Lake Project, but I did see that the author uses images and video, which is pretty cool. It's called The Indian Lake Project, a mystery blog that involved a metal box, old photographs, and what seemed as a classified military experiment involving children. It got me sooooo creepy that I read all of the back articles.

Go to that site..it was completely out of context.

finally, this picture looks photoshopped to me...looks like it was made to look old.
