Crowdstrike does not appear among their lists of sponsors on NPR's 2018 or 2019 annual reports. Is it possible they were referring to an earlier report focused upon Crowdstrike; there have been several?

No, the blurb was explicit. Maybe Crowdstrike will appear on the 2020 reports. I could dredge up the audio and prepare a clip (assuming the ad is kept in the archive audio); I laughed out loud as I heard it.

I've gone to the NPR site before to look for other funders who got the 15-second on-air blurbs; one was the Kock Bros. main company—not listed. But I don't recall checking the annual report, though again, Kochs might not have appeared if they were new funders.

Feel free to pick up this subject in the "NPR Watch" thread.

The reports I refer to are legal documents submitted to the government and made available for public inspection. They are available in pdf format and easily found. I'd inquire with your local station for an explanation of their announcement. I do not doubt you heard what you said you heard.

I omitted the links earlier - they are direct downloads:

It now seems impossible to get a direct address from google search, only their encrypted crap.
