Strange jet trails

I never usually pay much attention to jet trails, but I just went out to the road and noticed two weird ones--both had been heading towards the west, apparently, then did big loops back almost towards the way they had come from, but not quite, heading somewhat more northerly. <p></p><i></i>

Jets don't totally reverse directions in tandem over this part of the Midwest. As a matter of fact, the lines are generally extremely straight, from point A to point B. I have never seen this before. I suppose it might not have been commercial.
