That's odd! The first link you gave also has a discussion of the Global Consciousness project that I mentioned in another thread. Talk about syncronicity!

I don't get what Poindexter has to do with Ong's hat, though.

If you read the first link on the original post in this thread, there's a reference to the global consciousness project (EGGs) that I talked about on another thread here (Red Eggs).

I still can't figure out what the Ong's Hat has to do with Poindexter. Perhaps Thoughtographer will explain it when he/she has had enough caffeine.

I will probably never have enough caffeine, but yeah -- maybe later. Get clicking in the meantime, if you're so inclined.

"What's good for them is good for us."

Gnats Ho!
If anyone so inclined would like share any information about Peter Moon, of "Montauk Project" fame, that would be great. I've heard him pegged as a "disinformer", but I need something more solid than supposition and speculations founded in theories based on Extraterrestrial Hypotheses. Thanks in advance.
"A crooked stick will cast a crooked shadow."

Re: Gnats Ho!
Peter Moon co-authored the book with Joseph Matheny: Ong's Hat, the Beginning. It is a fascinating read... we've got lots of books by Moon and they are always worth reading.

The Egg (to travel in, interdimensionally) and colonizing Earth Two and more, is a recurring theme. --MaryK

Yes, thank you.
I'm aware of that book, which is precisely why I mention Moon. His books are worth reading, but I think we differ as to what exactly that worth is.

deliberate reasons
I don't have the link where I saw it last night, but it was coming up in connection with John Poindexter because of an internet campaign at some point several years ago.

People who felt that Poindexter and DARPA had a nerve hoovering up vast amounts info on individuals, decided that he may as well be on the receiving end of scrutiny too, to se how it felt. So they made sure that popular search terms were being linked to Poindexter's personal information.

I'll start a brief overview, and you interject when needed.
The Beginning of Ong's Hat:
Google was sparkling new, and Clinton was in the Whitehouse (BBJ--Before Blowj....). I was sitting at my computer, typing random phrases into the Google search engine to find some new surfing venues.
