Glad you like the Crass stuff. I'd never seen Christ- the Move tho I was aware of it's release back in mid 80s. Watching it yesterday gave me flashbacks to how I felt then. I don't know if any here saw the band live but if you did you'd know what I mean when I say they were the ultimate multimedia act of their time.<br>Pure propaganda. Anarcho Punk style with projector screens flashing the kind of images only recently made available via teh interwebs accompanied by a dischordant audio onslaught with three angily screaming vocalists.. to say it was mind-blowing is an undertatement.<br>What happened next was a revelation. Never saw CRASS but I did see Conflict in their heyday. Sort of similar though I know exactly what you mean about the multi-media aspect of CRASS. Twenty years ago and they're releasing albums in massive fold out poster sleeves for 99pence. The posters are full of cleverly presented propaganda built around actual facts (usually the governments own) and then live, they're a full on multimedia experience with music, slide shows, films, completely decorating the halls they played in. Oh and they lived in a commune, ran their own record label and published their own books. <br><br>I too remember that time around the Falklands War and the Miner's Strike.
