something's fishy
How can we be sure that havanagila is really writing these latest posts? Call me paranoid...but....they don't ring true to me.

Et in Arcadia sed:

"They do seem kind of odd, don't they? The hava persona I'm used to wouldn't question the reaction witnessed on the board at all."

****
Ditto -- Thanks for saying that, Et; That's my initial gut feeling too. As too re: the initial cryptic message. My sense is Hava would KNOW what a paranoid toss-up ripple-effect that kinda terse 'G'bye' was likely to cause among us who know (well, have a vivid idea, ennyway) what a 'delicate' situation her and other courageous, independant thinkers in Israel are faced with.

Abduction, forced re-education, isolation, public quarantine, state-ordered psycho-medical 'observation', paramilitary kidnapping and 'deprogramming', undeclared martial-law roundup of 'unpatriotic' Israeli citizen antiwar critics for their 'terrorist sympathy' leanings, etc.

Damn, but one doesn't need to be paranoid to have a sense of the potential evil the rightwing hardline thugs are capable of -- plenty of historical context and examples to draw from.

Hava's apparant irritation at the many expressions of concern sure seems *odd* and out-of-character. I can imagine Intelligence web-spy-types being put-out at the many offers to help Hava get out of a tight spot.

Sure hope this is all groundless.

Peace and light ennyway ...
Starman
