Oh I'd never changed it, it must have been set to RI International HQ in Toronto... Have changed it now, thanks.

Re: Arcadia's Helpful Forum Hints
Does anyone know how to make paragraph indents, as for block quotations within articles that are already quoted, making use of the quote function confusing, for example:
............
yak yak yak
blah blah blah (indented paragraph)
yak yak yak
................
TIA
............
yak yak yak

Yes. Use the "list" command within the quotation, like this:
[ quote ]Here's the text before the indent.
[ list ]Here's the indent.[/ list ]
And more text after.[/ quote ]
it should look like this:
[ quote ]Here's the text before the indent.
[ list ]Here's the indent.[/ list ]
And more text after.[/ quote ]
it should look like this:
Here's the text before the indent.
And more text after.
- Here's the indent.

thanks b, that is a very neat trick indeed, wish I had time to try it out tonight, but it'll be worth the wait when I do!barracuda wrote:Yes. Use the "list" command within the quotation, like this:

What is the vibe with imageshack pics showing up "domain not registered"? Are they trying to make money off hosting, and if they're now useless what is a good host?

I've begun to notice that as well. They seem to be blackmailing users to upgrade to their pay-service. It's discouraging, because images are sucha large part of what we discuss around here, and now, in older threads, the imageshack links are showing up dead. I guess it's the way of all things.

Actually you just need to sign in to imageshack (or register, then sign in) and refresh the RI tab and you get to see the images. Or someone could register RI for the images to be visible to all visitors. They say "Register your domain with ImageShack so that all images are visible on it. Only Owners, Administrators, Operators, or Moderators may register the domain".
