"earthly influences" may indeed have been a sleight at the "heavy" astrological influence. Could also have been (and/or) a mere slap at the "traditional" grounding aspect of child rearing in Anglo-American thought. Thirdly, he could be doing double speak, as when the "official" OTO of today, while apparently continuing in contact with ultraterrestrial agents, claim to have authority only in regards to "malkuth" can be taken as them admitting to their "fallen" nature (the abyss is "inside" the earth), to their trafficking with Qlippothic energies. So his moonchild, in this sense, could be being protected from the Black Brotherhood. The problem with esoteric speaking is that its always open to a multitude of interpretations. At least 3, always, in Crow's own system. He may also have, via 2nd veil, been hinting at raising a bisexual child, free from Freudian hangups, etc. You never know. I'd say that, at least, your interpretation is "correct" but that there are probably other ways to take it that would be equally "correct" under the normal Thelemic polemic. Cheers. SHCR, you should get one of those "smiley" emoticons with fangs. I can't imagine that they aren't out there. That's a satisfactory reply to my question. I get ya. You can go back to bed now. I guess you've kept the curtains drawn. By the way, I just read that Anne Rice has put the vampire genre aside and gone on a different religious kick. Her latest book is her speculative take on the childhood of Jesus, in Egypt. I can tell you this much already- that book will beat the hell out of anything Tim LaHaye ever wrote. ( Actually, I just found out that LaHaye uses a ghost-writer...for some reason, I find that fact hilarious. )

At least Anne Rice doesn't work for the PNAC, NWO, Tomb, psuedop-Neo-Con dark alliance. Although I don't like her style, so I doubt I'll read a book by her about Jesus, of all bloody things.

Mars retrograde means revenge on those who prey on the weak? Never heard that one, where'd you get that? It might be true...today I saw this woman, owner of a local business, who has been cheating her employees for YEARS. She had gained weight, was bloated and sick looking, hobbling around on crutches with a broken foot. Purely by coincidence I ran into an acquaintance who worked for a rival business who said her ex boss has been cackling that the woman's business is in receivership. Can it be? Could what has gone around, be coming around? That would be different. Most of the time, the weak take it in the neck, or as Mordred sang in "Camelot", "It's not the earth the meek inherit, it's the dirt."

Mars is currently crossing, or their natal Sun, Venus or Jupiter positions! Currently in opposition to the Sun's transit of Scorpio, it DOES suggest a sting-in-the-tail of cosmic proportions for all those hell-bent on calling-out karmic forces!
