I'm not threatened at all

it really isn't nice to tell someone to commit suicide

Then that someone shouldn't be a lying fucker and should stay away from me with its fucking lies. Is that clear enough? I will take shit from a lot of you, but not from morons whose mission in life seems to be to destroy any residual good that may come from RI by constantly promoting the work of conspiracy merchandisers a la David Icke. Such a person should just resist the urge to completely misrepresent what I write, especially if their contributions don't rise up to minimal standards of literacy and logic. It's easy to avoid posters. I was doing that for months with this one, but it misquoted me one time too many. And please drop the pretense that you really think telling someone to "kill themselves" in this context is a literal command with any danger of realization as a result.

Right now there is a mob here participating as adjuncts in the NSA-led campaign to pave the way to Snowden's death, and pretending they're doing so in the name of truth and reality. Maybe this modern day Dreyfus Affair merits more concern than whether I tell slimmouse to go fuck itself.

Well, this just hit me like a ton of bird feathers. It *is8 the ego, at the bottom of it all. When I read this post (and others), I asked myself, "How does this mesh with my own thoughts?", and "how does it affect me?"

I guess the first step is to recognize it, eh?
Well it’s a pickle Neon, because me is always there at the intersection of an inner subjective experience and the outer world. I’m not one to try to ‘transcend’ the ego because it seems kind of egotistical. Then again, that could be my own ego trick so I can stay lazy.

What I do see/recognize is that, because historical, cultural, linguistic and social markers continually wash over my being, my ego is naturally a well conditioned element of my psyche. So, a strategy can be adopted whereby the ego is accepted as a tool of consciousness, while realizing that ego operating in either/or reality tunnels produces unacceptable limitations for folk ready to look deeper into the structures behind the issues that the whole world is grappling with today.

Adopt a Continuum Model today,- It's a fine topical ointment, well suited to be applied liberally over the whole of ones body.

There is no political solution
To our troubled evolution
Have no faith in constitution
There is no bloody revolution

We are spirits in the material world

Our so called leaders speak
With words they try to jail you
The subjugate the meek
But it's the rhetoric of failure

We are spirits in the material world

Where does the answer lie?
Living from day to day
If it's something we can't buy
There must be another way

We are spirits in the material world

Thanks SLAD. Have goosebumps just THINKING about that song... and how strongly it pulls me back to my childhood.

“We are not human beings having a spiritual experience.
We are spiritual beings having a human experience.”

Indeed we probably are spirits in a material world.

And with great realisations come great consequences, to say nothing of personal challenges.

Looking at the Poll in the OP, If the song title above was a category, I fully realise that this would make in an eleven, which some might say has a distinctly Spinal Tap connotation about it.

But I reckon this full understanding of what, to paraphrase Terence Mkenna the safe bet is , namely that We actually are spirits in a material world, amounts to just about the end of the line.

So, if only for the rebump

These go to Eleven.

The Lone Gunmen, laying low for a decade, finally come out of hiding and turn to Scully and Mulder with this crazy story about how the government is using remote devices to take control of cars and planes to crash them into bridges and buildings. They couldn't stop 9/11, but can they stop the next conspiracy, and how deep does it go?

6 months before 9/11

Silver bird takes off in the night
Another's coming in
In every window a light
As every night begins

One thing stays on my mind
As I look back over time
I guess it just couldn't last
I feel it's fading fast

Do you - remember?
Do you - surrender?
Do you - (whoa) remember how it feels?

If it all comes back on me
I won't run and hide
Sometimes all you got left
Is your empty pride

But nothing, nothing
Will ever be the same
Some of the best things fade
Some of the worst remain

But I can't turn back the tide
Or show you something inside
Or help you out when you fall
If I can help you at all

Do you - remember?
Do you - surrender?
Do you - (whoa) remember how it feels?

Do you - remember?
Do you - surrender?
Do you - (whoa) remember how it feels?

So which way do I go from here?

An acquaintance recently informed me that he had come to believe our world inundated with Miles W. Mathis levels of fakery. A bit of background research I have done on Mathis reveals many of the man's claims themselves to be hardly possible. I wonder what the moral of this story is!

All I really know is that the powers that rule the world are masters of illusion and operate only to gain more power, more wealth and more control always, of course, cleverly concealed under a benevolent guise that fools even the most "intelligent", or, I should say, especially fools those who measure as academically gifted, whose egos are ingeniously intertwined into the functioning and preservation of the global system created by our elite rulers. The truly wise--regardless of IQ score-- see through the smoke and mirrors.

I've also come to believe that they believe in some sort of satanic force that demands sacrifice of the many and that they engage in acts that most of us would consider evil, for example, the horrific abuse and use of children as currency ...the pedophocracy; bloody wars for profit and gain; the exploitation of third world countries; the intentional destruction of our food supply and environment, and on and on and on...

Although, I do believe in a demonic force, as for this whole thing being a simulation / dream / matrix and/or aliens ruling us, I'm not sold. .
