Something elementry stinks about that!<br><br>I mean if you or I were up on some charges could WE just replace the prosecutors? As I remember that happened during Watergate (The Friday Night Massacre) but ultimately it did NOT help Nixon.<br><br>Maybe this is the last harrah. Maybe Fitzgerald will finally unseal the indictments before he's replaced. Then the fat will be into the fire. <p></p><i></i>

I got a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach reading this. Fitzgerald must be on to something big if they are bringing in this Skull and Bones guy to clean up. I'm going to post this as a new topic. DBeach - nothing is a coincidence with these people.<br><br>I hope Fitzgerald is smart enough to not get on a plane, walk in dark alleys, or sleep with his back to a door. <br><br>Seriously - this man must be marked. I wonder what it feels like to have the weight of the world on your shoulders. Literally. And to realize that by doing the right thing, handing down indictments for the likes of Bush and Cheney, will likely bring about a national crisis that will make Watergate look like a trip through Disneyworld.<br><br>I'm not necessarily the praying type, but I am sending this man as much protective energy as I can muster. <p></p><i></i>

Yes, Sunny - it is Fitzgerald's boss. And I think it is a serious setback if it is true. These people don't play around. What better way to undo Fitzgerald's work than to have his boss take him off the case and claim he had totally messed up the investigation and had nothing to go on, or some such trash.<br><br> <p></p><i></i>

If that is the case, as a story from CS linked earlier in this thread pointed out, we could hope for a runaway grand jury that would go ahead with mass indictments, not just in the Plame case, but for a variety of criminal offenses. I know of no provision in the law that would allow anyone to sweep away all members of a grand jury and empanel a new one- although, I don't put anything past them, and the msm would hardly utter a peep if they did just that. <p></p><i></i>

Im sure the Bushco knows most of what the GJs are poking into...But, They need to get their bonesman in there so they be exactly sure of what the Grand Juries are up to....
