I know this is my thread and I hate distractions I don't know why mac keeps doing that to me in my threads but I am getting very tired of it...personal attacks are really distracting

I started this thread 5 years ago, have been contributing to it ever since for 5 years and never had a problem till now

Savant, it's safe to say that there will have been many hellish scenes in Aleppo over the last few days, months and years. It is a war zone. after all. But it's also safe to say that any "news" should be treated sceptically if it comes from people who speak no Arabic, have no knowledge of Syria or Aleppo, have no reliable contacts in the city, and/or have an obvious axe to grind or an obvious interest in promoting disinfo.

Eva Bartlett looks and sounds honest, credible, brave, well-informed and highly competent, unlike that Norwegian journo, who looks and sounds just like any other Western hack. That little exchange between them is really highly instructive. It should form a part of any serious journalism course.
