Not quite. I thought he wasn't tasered soon enough. The instant he violently pulled away from the police escort, in the direction of the stage, he should have been tasered. I say that because if it had been a Wellstone-type instead of Kerry, that's what I would want to happen and the absence of it in that situation would make me think the police were standing down. What was wrong was them tasering him long after he was on the ground and subdued.

Ideals can change the world, and they can be anonymous. Who cares who first thought about freedom, it works for the benefit of humankind.

Had the person who'd pushed those ideals into the world been tazered at his first appeal, we'd all be picking cotton.

He should have been tased anywhere between 1:48 and 1:52
Especially at 1:51-1:52

An anonymous tip could change the world I guess. And okay, an anonymous contribution to collective thought/knowledge, if it spreads, can change the world. Anything else?

Anonymous acts of kindness. No reward or good reputation expected, just letting the blessing flow from, through, and to.

BTW: biometric ID's = tags for herd animals

If you think I'm a fascist for saying he should have been tased for violently resisting a police escort and potentially posing a threat to a national political figure, then you're an asshole. Again, if it had been Wellstone up there and the cops had been so passive at the moment he violently resisted then people here would be calling the pigs out for standing down.

Good point. See how "framing the discussion" works so effectively? I am one who objected to your position on tasering, but when you explain yourself, I agree. Those were just the facts - the man Kerry has been a presidential candidate and is still a big political and business figure. The fact that the cops didn't shoot him is a good thing.

Thanks, FB.
