Eldritch, where do you think all those teevee shows, movies & computer games are made? They come from the good ol' USA, along with McDonald's & Pepsi.

Here in Egypt, they're beamed into our homes via...Saudi Arabia.

Oddly enough, the holding company for McDonald's and a lot of other, similarly beneficial companies, is Saudi Arabian as well.

Yes, the same people who are financing and promoting Islamic fundamentalism.

Well, I knew my country was busy exporting decadence, but I didn't fully realize the role Saudi Arabia was playing in this. Thank you for pointing it out. That this is the case makes sense too—especially as I remember the cozy relationship the Bush Family has with the Saudi royal family.
