I'm all for hatin' on Bush, but are these pictures evidence that he was drunk? I'd be more inclined to believe video, especially if he was stumbling, incoherent, etc.

I did semi professional video and photo work for a while. I agree with you that this stuff is ealily faked by simply using bad shots. Video would certainly be more convincing because it would take a monumental effort to fake the video. Still shots like these can be farmed out of video footage and the worst ones can be easily selected to portray him in the worst possible light.

But from what I have seen I believe it until he is proven sober. If I had not seen the secret service hauling him out of the stands I might be a little more skeptical. But that shot, and the one of his arm, taken in totality with the rest of the shots, considering his drunken past, is convincing for me.

I can't imagine why they let his drunken ass out in public. B Moon made a good point. But even to make the public hate him so we would love Obama even more isn't worth an international embarassment considering that the U.S. has been trashing the rest of the globe with its wars and financial shenanigans. This just defies logic. But accidents happen, and it might be that simple. Maybe somebody just made a bad call.

Watching the Olympics I saw W interviewed by Costas. He came across as very relaxed, in a great mood and even, for me, likable. He acted like a man on an August vacation.

Sometimes I wonder if stuff like this is somewhat staged. I'm not saying that Bush wasn't drunk, but I also believe that negative press can be pretty well managed.

The reason I bring this up is because I've noticed that there's a particularly hate-filled segment of the right wing demographic that absolutely LOVES it when Bush curses or makes references to getting drunk. I have an uncle who considers himself to be a real rugged "no nonsense" kind of guy who worships Fox News, cursed heavily, and drinks himself into a blackout every day after work. He's the type of moron who screamed about going to a mosque to fist-fight Muslims on 911. He adores it when Bush acts arrogant or fucked up. In fact, he actually seems to view Bush as some sort of maverick John Wayne type who isn't afraid to "bend the rules" to protect America, and who's such a real man that he gets stinking drunk regularly.

Between him and John McCain, we've basically got the Ronald Reagan/Marlboro Man "rugged individualist" image being run into the ground. I guess if it worked in the 80s...

Thats why, when the globalists then bring in a sophisticated, charismatic and charming new leader that has so many under his messianic spell...I then begin to really worry what "will happen next".

Personally, I can't "hate" Bush. He seems as I've mentioned prior, like a thoroughly compartmentalized manchild...perhaps as the result of ritualized abuse from childhood. I certainly dont put anything past his father; a man a thousand times more evil then "Dubya".

I always get uneasy when the President is getting cozy with an August vacation...its a time when Israeli youth are aggressively hawking sea beads at mall kiosks across America. A time when Pakistani intel agents are

This is kind of off-topic, but I can't believe how many people actually buy into Obama. I find the guy inherently unstrustworthy. He seems like a slick soulless phony to me, and his speeches essentially say nothing. Can someone explain to me again why I'm supposed to view this millionaire as a "man of the people"?

And he's a white guy. People tend to forget that many(most? I can't remember the statistic) black people already have caucasian blood in them, so interracial unions usually result in children who are slightly more than 50% white.
