Well it's almost impossible now to distinguish the fake propaganda from the real propaganda.
This magazine being a perfect example.
I mean, I've said it over and over again until I quit saying it: "they must think we're really stupid".
And this "magazine" is classic. How obvious can they be? It's like they're not even trying any more?

I didn't get the sense they thought it was real, and seriously doubt it--but--that makes Nordic's point that it's more and more difficult distinguishing the fake from the real.8bitagent wrote:Sadly, HotAirNews linked this [Onion video] thinking it was a real news piece
Love the propaganda posters.

Thanks, I remember reading that now, and the picture of miso soup, but MISO above wasn't registering...permanent short-term memory loss. The problem with MISO is you can consume huge quantities of intelligence, and twenty minutes later you want more.MinM wrote:rigorousintuition.ca - View topic - Army drops "Psy Ops" term for, well, psy ops

If they aren't, it's because they don't have to.Nordic wrote:And this "magazine" is classic. How obvious can they be? It's like they're not even trying any more?
The American people pretty much believe whatever they're told to believe, and they pat themselves on the back for their "level headedness." Skeptics of officialdom have been so marginalized by now as "conspiracy theorists" that they're functionally irrelevant.
The psy-op boys are having fun now.

Well, I think it's two-fold in that there is a certain percentage of the population that believes whatever they're told ...
And those that don't?
Well, the PTB are just thumbing their noses at us saying "whatcha gonna do about it??"
They know we know, and they know we are powerless.
And we are.

It seems about the best we can do is chip away at the inequities, but that can make a difference. There are good people and organizations who win a battle here and there, and without their efforts things would definitely be worse. Maybe one of the best ways to "fight the bastards" is to support those existing organizations (key word organization) doing the work. As far as actually reversing the march of corporatocracy, that's hard.Nordic wrote:They know we know, and they know we are powerless.

Re: Al Qaeda's First English Language Magazine Is Here
One thing we can do is to try and tell the truth, as clearly as we can see it.
Whether that will affect change in the future remains to be seen — but it does annoy liars and manipulators, unfailingly.
