If it's alright with everyone, I'm banning Canadian Watcher. I sent her a warning regarding her behavior vis-a-vis compared2what? in the porn thread:

I'm making this notification in this thread, because if anyone should know why this sort of conversation shouldn't happen in pm's it's her. I think it's clear that if I have to choose between having Canadian_Watcher or c2w as active members here, c2w is gonna win hands down.

I think you made the right call. She was causing distress and wasn't heeding warnings.
I wouldn't want it to be a permanent ban, but I do think she needs to sit out for a bit.

I'm feeling more and more out of touch these days.
It took me like five minutes to figure out what gfy means.
It hit me just as I was typing it into a search engine to look it up (smacks forehead.).
I banned C_W for a week not more than a couple of months ago. This is getting a bit old...

I had taken her off the ban list last Thursday, using the "unban" function in the Mod Control Panel. Did it not take? Or is there a better way to go about that?

No, that should have worked. I probably just duplicated it with my admin "force reactivation" function.
Anyway, she wrote me this morning saying, essentially,
meh. She may choose to sit out for a while longer.
