I'm not a mod here anymore. If I were I'd be arguing against the prohibition of the word "jerkoff" in general usage to describe persons of differing opinions. It seems fairly mild as an attack and an obvious parodic choice considering your username. But if you are concerned about it, I'd advise you to flag the post and request that the moderators have wintler scale back the sarcasm before he gets in trouble here.

The moral of this story is: protect your friends and those you value on the forum from their own worst impulses. If you wait 'til they're banned to show concern for their behavior, it may be too late. As I fear is the case for the object of your OP.

Take responsibility. Friends don't let friends post complete fucking bullshit.

It seems to me that the majority of participants here would like C_W to be invited back.

I was not suggesting that you shouldn't respond to public posts. My point was that you shouldn't have assumed I was addressing you when I was addressing mods (i.e., take it personally) - which is what you appear to have done - if you're not a mod. That's all. Nothing else.
