Psychedelic Shamanism

One of the best books on this topic is Jim DeKorne's "Psychedelic Shamanism." Not only does it offer a compelling theoretical model for entity contact, it also offers instructions for producing DMT from easy-to-find plant sources, including some wild grasses found all over the U.S.

There are extensive excerpts from the book in this missive from Blue Resonant Human:

www.greylodge.org/occultr...shaman.htm

A pertinent excerpt from DeKorne:

"...The gnostic Archons, then, are intelligences existing in the imaginal realm in 'bodies' consisting of thought and feeling. They are able to tune into our awareness through our affinity with their wavelength, that is, our beliefs. They feed off of our allocation of energy to their dimension, and compete with other Archons on other levels in the overall hierarchy for their nourishment."

"...What may be a belief in the Christian Trinity or Islamic Jihad [or flying saucers!] to humans, may be the equivalent of a T-bone steak to entities of the imaginal realm who depend upon that belief for their existence. A hungry Archon will apparently do anything to convince you to feed it. The psychiatric literature is saturated with examples of 'inner voices' demanding absurd levels of obedience to highly questionable belief systems."

"...This book holds to the shamanic model of multiple dimensions, accessed via human consciousness, in which dissociated intelligences feed off of human belief systems the way that we eat hamburger. It is to these entities' advantage to keep us ignorant of their agendas; they would forfeit independent existence if we chose to become gods ourselves by devouring their energy instead of vice-versa. As it is written in the Upanishads, and emphasized here for the third time: 'it is not pleasant to the Devas that men should know this.'"

because i struggle with alien visitations and so seek alternative possibilitiesi pondered if deep in the human brain there are remnants of the first animals to have a leap of real conciousness and maybe mantis' were those creatures and as descendants of the same dna source we 'remember' that consciousness and like in a dream, mix the symbols and memories with our own.
aside from that meandering thought i would like to add that having had acid many times and dmt and mushrooms i am convinced that what you get is a real experience of reality from a sensory point of view, our senses including the brain dull the external reality by necessity. all those fuzzy wave like edges on so called solid objects, observable wave interactions in space, fucking love it!

I can personally say that I have experienced DMT 'entities'.

I believe this sense of 'other' which is created and so commonly reported is only a mirroring of the individuals underlying psyche.

The curious alchemist should check this out:
www.erowid.org/chemicals/...ide1.shtml
Be your own shaman!

At last a bit of sense, Alchemy (forbidden knowledge and ridiculed by the self appointed guaridians of knowledge).

the same with Shamanism, astrology etc.

when ever these self appointed guardians of knowledge ridicule a subject you know that you are on the right lines.

It's a bit silly to say outright that anyone who happens to be working at Harvard is a compromised "gatekeeper" and actively (or unwittingly) spreading dis- or misinformation.

Perhaps he was. But perhaps not. Afiliation with a major university or even a large foundation does not equal cooperation with a particular agenda.

The "Bewilderness" account mentioned above ( www.bewilderness.com ) also has some mention of a 'mantis' type critter, at least that's the interpretation that could be pretty easily made. See the the end of Chapter 4. - PJ

in usual ufo abduction mythology, usually appear to be the bossmen on the craft they're on, lording it over some greys...also somewhat in dmt and psilocin visions (pore through the erowid archives for a few examples).

the bewilderness site is quite interesting reading...
