I have always found Strieber's writings very engaging and I suspect that he's (mostly) telling the truth.<br><br>At the same time, I've wondered about his flip-flopping (they're evil torturing bastards vs. they are galactic saviors) and some of his claims (an implant that allows him to roam the galaxy in his mind), as well as his politics (he was staunchly pro-war).<br><br>I think he's a confused man. But who wouldn't be, if even a small percentage of what he says is true?<br><br>Having read nearly everything written by the man, and most of what has been written about him, I think his experiences have made him unstable, hence unreliable. <p></p><i></i>
