It's not random. The search reflect more your taste of video watching on YT. Using the full title "Rise Up Bernie 2020" The video was the second return after searching YT.

I think Bernie is a wonderful person, and if I were still an American and I had a chance, I would skip to the ballot box to vote for him.

However, a few things about this video are disingenuous.

First, the people who were describing him as "not smiling" or curmudgeonly or looking mean and old and disheveled were criticizing specific moments in time... specific debates, town halls, interviews, etc. Most of them (not all... it's true that some of those idiots really are that stupid) were NOT referring to "all the time" Bernie. A similar video could easily be put together to paint Trump in a similar light (and I would be shocked if we don't see that now, considering the effectiveness of the Bernie video).

Also, the heart attack... when combined with his age... I don't know.

Anyway, I would be okay with pretty much any of the current Democratic candidates being the next President of the USA. They would ALL be a vast improvement over the current regime. The only thing I truly hope and pray for is that the next administration doesn't repeat Obama's mistake of letting the last administration's crimes just fade away into history. Trump and those in his orbit have to suffer the consequences of their crimes. That's my wish, anyway.

Who knows? Key is what comes up if one searches Bernie 2020 or similarly generic and simple, since that's how most find anything. "Bernie 2020" gets campaign videos and campaign news coverage, does not look negative. "Bernie Sanders" gets nothing for miles but "heart attack" stories.

IMHO, people who do not think youtube is suppressing this video in its results need their heads examined.

The second one that your search results listed out for me entitled "Joe Biden Leads But Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren Get Boost In New Poll" that had just 43,000 views since it was listed 3 months ago or the one entitled "Rising Up | Bernie 2020" that has had well over 100,000 views since it was released just 2 days ago?

I mean, I just typed in 3 of the 4 words of the title of perhaps the most popular viral political video on youtube in the last month. Why did my search results for ""Rising Bernie 2020" direct me to a CNN video entitled "Elizabeth Warren has her 2020 mojo back" from 3 months ago long before it returned the results for the "Rising Up | Bernie 2020" video that is by far youtube's most popular Sanders video for this entire week?

And yes, I have tried this search in a private window and in a privacy browser with the same results.

Whoa! Now in addition to suppressing this video in its search results, youtube is starting the Sanders video with an obnoxious Trump ad in which Trump's scowling face threatens to imprison you for supporting socialism!

It's algorithmic, based upon past viewing habits!

And no one is claiming YT doesn't censor, but adds get placed where the purchaser asks for them to be placed. Almost every video I've watched, whether it's the History Channel's Pickers show, or a News video, that Trump socialism ad survey appears, or the damned Epoch Times ad does.

Youtube's MOST WATCHED POLITICAL VIDEO of the last week that has "Bernie 2020" in its very title does not appear in among the first 100 videos listed!

Now watch what happens when I sort by view count instead of "relevance"

It now jumps to the 9th video listed. Not a single video released withing the last 6 months has a higher viewcount!

What possible "algorithm" suppresses the results of the most viewed "Bernie 2020" video of the last 6 months, a video that youtube admits has had almost 300,000 views since it was realsed just 5 days ago below 100 videos with far fewer views (less than 10,000 in many cases) released months ago?

Seriously, are you kidding me? Try any variation other than the exact title of the video. Any normal algorithm would have it be the first video in the search results were you to search for "Bernie Sanders", "Sanders 2020", "Bernie 2020", or any permutation of these search terms. Just try to find it using youtube's search bar that way! I dare you. Note that nobody searching on their TV or youtube app devices has access to the filtering that you can use to bring the video to the top.
