Re: TRUMP is seriously dangerous
someone said on the radio this morning ....I want to force the republican party to carry Trump to full term so when he looses in a landslide we can finally say to the 15% of this country ...sit down and shut up you are not the majority of this country ...

Mazars and Deutsche Bank could have ended this nightmare before it started.
They could still get him out of office.
But instead, they want mass death.
Don’t forget that.

WE can say what they USED to say:
"If you don't like it, move to Russia!"

tribalismwar with Russia would be bad, would be catastrophic. But allowing Russia to expand its power and influence unchecked would be bad to,

We are tribal animals. No getting around that fact. You can believe in a global unifying order of some sort, which is to some degree necessary, but that again is just handing off more of your autonomy to a more remote tribal group that congregates in Aruba or Vienna. Does anyone think Russia's growing sphere of influence is a good thing? Isn't it down right odd that a US presidential candidate is even believed to possibly be in cahoots with the Russian president? Isn't it down right odd that Russian hackers are believed to have possibly hacked a democratic parties server? Don't people find it a wee bit strange that we should even be talking about possible foreign interference in our elections at all, and especially so close to the election? And that one of the front runners of the parties is reviled by most, including those in his very own party? That there is a candidate that seems to delegitimatize the whole process, including mentioning voter fraud before the election has even been held? That a candidate who plays to the worst of tribalistic thinking, for some reason has a rare soft spot for a foreign power that has a century's worth of practice in destablizing governments and overthrowing them from the inside?
But the US does it to, Hilary & Bilary, CIA, etc. wah wah, yes, yes! But there is a difference between doing the hammering and being hammered. Most progressive people exist in a state that doesn't exist, a neutral fair state in a never arriving future, where they are free of any dirt or blood of real politick. But that is not where you live. And as evil as Bill is and was, I know at least he robbed Russia during his presidency and not the other way around. Sure, it would have been great, fair, just, if he helped build Russia after the fall of Communism, but thats not what happened. And it can be argued that by not doing that he helped create a Putin, lets just say sure, yes. But that doesn't change the fact that a presidential candidate who the very least wobbles on the Ukraine, is anti-Nato, admires Putin, has connections to the Russian Mob and Politics, and has numerous financial ties to Russia and at most may have a even more sinister link is dangerously close to possibly becoming president.

wouldn't want to leave out the best part

I don't have time for it now because I'm on a job, but every move Russia has made has been defensive. Not offensive.
The US overthrew the Ukraine and put in a puppet government. This was very aggressive. The neonazis of Kiev who were given power by this started slaughtering Russian speakers including a particularly gruesome massacre in Odessa where they deliberately burned to death dozens of Russian speakers. There are photos. You could look them up. The goals of the neonazi Ukes were clear -- to ethnically clear the Russian speakers out of Ukraine. As a rather brutal gerrymandering of election districts.
Russia has always had a major military base in Crimea. It is historically Russian. It was clear to Putin that one of the goals of the Ukraine overthrow, other than getting Monsanto and Halluburton in there, was to threaten the military base in Crimea. And probably slaughter the ethnic Rusdians who lived there. So he "invaded" Crimea with the 50,000 troops who were ALREADY THERE. The people of Crimea voted in full approval of this and are damn happy they did or they would be getting blown to bits out shopping like the poor bastardis in the Donbass. There are videos. Gruesome. Look them up.
In the meantime Putin did just enough to avoid a total genocide of the Russians in Ukraine.
But now guess who has boots in the ground in Ukraine? We do. Who is pushing for a new war? We are. Who just sent saboteurs into Crimea to (suicidally) stir up shit with Russia? Our puppets did, and they wouldn't make a move like that without our urging, and our telling them we'd back them up.
Again if Russia wanted to actually be aggressive there, they could take Ukraine in smattering of days. Putin has been doing everything imaginable to avoid a full-on confrontation with the US over Ukraine. And we have been goading him relentlessly.
But yeah keep talking s out "Russian aggression". That makes you no better than John Keery or Victoria Nuland, both lying warmongering sacks of shit.
Ukraine? Crimea? Sure it's not completely black and white, but when did Ukrainians and Crimean's invade Russia

Poppa Koch started the family fortune by building 15 oil refineries for Joseph Stalin.

Henry Ford and IBM enabled Hitler and the Nazis.
Our big business and financial class have no qualms about working to benefit our supposed enemies.
Whatever happened to the peace dividend from the end of the Cold War?
Since at least 2000 the USA has not been able nor willing to address irregularities in the voting system.
Our political institutions as of 2016 have failed to present a candidate for POTUS that is liked, respected, or trusted by many folks at all.
The situations in Ukraine and Syria are such that it is open to opinion as to what power is the destabilizing influence.
I am far more concerned about the failure of our political parties and sorry excuse for a media than Russia and big bad Putin influencing our elections that we already know are "bought" (and we have the Citizens United USSC ruling as evidence plus recent actions of the DNC and the existence of The Clinton Foundation). I am proud of those in the GOP that repudiate the train wreck that is Trump. Too bad for us life long Democrats that find that "our" POTUS candidate and national party like the "sane" GOP more than many Democratic party members.
I tend to agree with Nordic that the USA has been the aggressor and Russia in defensive posture in response to USA aggression in recent years. Recent events in Turkey have yet to be sorted out. If as appears likely, "we" were involved in the failed coup and Turkey pivots toward Russia, many changes will happen in the aftermath.

He said Hillary should be awarded the MVP of ISIS, with Obama being her only competition. Which is entirely true, lol

I only recall seeing one person here openly endorsing Trump.
Has that changed yet?

I don't think so.
I don't think there is anyone here who would be voting for Clinton, is there?
