The other things I meant to mention last night:

1. I saw the eye on Dr. Bill's back. Interesting.

2. Another missing prop between scenes: statue on table to left of door where Bill sees Marian is missing when her fiancee goes in.

3. At the toy store, notice the stuffed animals displays: "Lions and tigers and bears... oh my!" Over the rainbow and into the enchanted forest, Toto runs ahead looking at the toys. Dorothy and the scarecrow decide after all this intrigue... they need to fuck. Very weird.

"As for the Illuminati, they just lick their chops at how easy it is to discredit Icke over his Reptilian Shapeshifters theory, which is unfortunately all-too-real in some aspects. It is easy to keep the hypnotized TV lobotomized people away from such formulated revelations. One can easily see the Queen of England or Prince Charles saying to one of their blood sacrifice victims, "Now do you believe in David Icke's Website? Ha, ha, ha--it is indeed too late for you!" Or, "You should have paid more attention to the movie Eyes Wide Shut or you would not be here today!"

What? Someone is nervously whimpering that they want to take all this further? Well, child, start meditating on the Big Picture and seek more cosmic information than you normally do. Stop being so God-damn complacent! Search for Truth and nothing but Total Truth. You may have a slight chance of rescue."

©2004 Gabriel Chiron

godlikeproductions.com/bb...te=2/10/06

Wow! I hadn't noticed that before! S&B!!! holy crap.

Last night I was watching a rerun of Sex in the City (I am ashamed to admit it) and the dumbest one was at a party talkiing to a handsome guy, who said he went to Yale. She grimaced, "Yale?" "Yeah, what's wrong with Yale?" "Well, it's so.....Yale." She extricated herself and found her true dream date, a bald guy who immediately proposed to her.

Some stupid show!

Whispering Lolita

In the film "Lolita," when Hum picks little Lo up from camp and they're in the hotel the next morning, she wants to play a game. Asks Hum to guess what the game is -- something she learned from the boy at camp. Hum's never been good at guessing and can't figure it out. She whispers in his ear, just like the LeeLee Sobieski character in EWS, who whispers sexily in Dr. Bill's ear. What's this mean? Could it be just a self-referential image?

I noticed that in "Lolita," Clare Quilty asks Hum if he is Spartacus when Hum comes for revenge. ("Spartacus" was directed by Kubrick.)

"Lolita" is a fascinating, yet creepy film. One wonders if Lolita's dad -- the "soul of integrity" according to Charlotte Haze -- was Lolita's first. Charlotte, upon learning that Hum has the hots for Lolita, goes into a rage -- but she seems angrier at Lolita than at Humbert! Perhaps this is not the first time that Lolita has taken Charlotte's "man."

http://groups.google.com/group/soc.cult ... 83d25e40c8

This is a usenet posting from 2004 that I found interesting. I haven't read this entire thread, so I don't know if anyone covered the fact that "Fidelio Rainbow" was the full password in the original script.

edit
--
Scratch that last part. I got off my lazy ass and did a search here for "Fidelio Rainbow" and found the other discussion.

Edited by: thoughtographer at: 3/15/06 11:37 am

I just thought it was interesting, so I reposted it here. I ran across this image today while on Corbis (a database accessed through the college I attend). Thought it was curious. The caption linked to the image read: Engraving of a Physician Wearing Protective Clothing by Paulus Furst. 666 and Masonic Lodge next to Rainbow Costumes

As it wasn't alredy mentioned on this forum:

Kubrick died 666 days before 1/1/2001.

Right next to the Rainbow Costumes shop Kubrick placed a Masonic Lodge. Take a closer look, there is the compass & straightedge logo on the wall. As those streets were created on an open air soundstage and I doubt that any Masonic symbols appear in Schnitzler's Traumnovelle, the masonic connection was introduced by Kubrick himself.

Fictional address of Somerton Mansion on Long Island

Kubrick goes in great detail to show the drive towards Somerton Mansion in Roslyn on Long Island. The viewers attention is pointed towards several markers on the road, even on the last scene when the gate is already visible, two signposts can be seen in the background.

The gate is most probably located in that small wood near map center:
maps.google.com/?om=1&ll=...6,0.028281

Note: Roslyn Chapel near Edingburgh, Scotland, the most famous and oldest Templars Church in Europe.
