just an anecdote to all the old shit
That was uncalled for, Senator. By which I just mean the editorializing, absent which I wouldn't now have to inflict upon the lounge some run-of-the-mill screamo thrasher that, seriously, no one really needs to hear.

The Antidote -- Story of the Year

Because I am actually very grateful for the music. In all its forms, as long as it's good, it's the closest thing to an emotional fountain of youth there is, as far as I'm concerned. And that has gotten to be more and more of a blessing to me the more definitively middle-aged I get.

So: Have a heart, I arthritically and humbly request, in the annoyingly tentative and quavery voice of someone who expects to have his or her natural inclinations, tastes, and desires met by the scorn of society. And with lots more self-pity than I've ever actually felt on the worst day of my life, wrt age, anyway. I love getting older. After approximately 37-ish or so, it's nothing but uphill in my experience.

Though I am just as vain (and therefore irrationally sensitive) about my taste in music as I've ever been, I gotta admit. But....most people who love music are, I'm pretty sure. Aren't they? I think that just goes with the territory.

I'll own some a that... I fucking love the old shit. Because it's fucking amazing, and amazing to rediscover. I am, however, enamoured of the new shit as well. Especially if it has plenty of hot chicks making moaning noises to a fucking jamming backbeat, etc., ad infinitum, and is hooky forever and ever, amen, Jackson, and specifically...

Sohodolls "not available in your country." Something I'm finding more and more at Metube.

Had to resort to the Daily Motion.

Though it's more like monthly or weakly these days.
