Sanders seemed easily less despicable than Clinton/Trump but he seems like he was mostly a decoy/pipe dream now.

A non-trivial point.

I don't think Trump can win, but I also think a Trump win would be pretty terrible for his base, given their narratives and needs. Way easier to keep up the People's Hero charade when you've lost. It's definitely the best outcome for The Donald as a brand.

Trump would've been forced out of the GOP race if the other candidates weren't so loathed and there hadn't been so much popular mobilization

Millions came out for Sanders but they weren't able to "destroy" the Dems - the US needs to destroy the democrats and get a party in between Sanders and Stein but of course preventing this is priority no. 1 for TPTB

and those millions of people were not out to destroy the dems...some of them were hard cord socialists and now hate Bernie...they were using him fair weather friends with their own agenda
