Can't possibly give a "guesstimate". Those kinds of people are not hard to find. You can find at least three of them on this board alone.
Not everyone who is guilty of that infantile behaviour is American, of course, but it is something that is most strikingly prominent amongst Americans in 2018. Because the contemporary USA is a very sick society, and life in the imperial Homeland is now driving many of its inhabitants insane. In the fifty-odd years since they murdered the American citizens JFK, RFK and MLK (with impunity, of course), the USA's "emboldened" rulers have devoted their time and energy to spreading their gospel of infanbtile irresponsibility and greed around the world, along with all the death and destruction and the deliberate immiseration of billions. They do all that in the name of what they call Freedom, Which brings us back to the topic of this thread.
"Socialism or barbarism." (Rosa Luxemburg, shortly before she was murdered by fascists and dumped in a canal.) Today, a full century later, the option is looking more and more like "Full Communism or Species Extinction." Of course there are many people, In the USA and elsewhere, who would rather be dead than Red, and there are some who would rather see all of humankind perish than give up one penny of their hard-earned loot.
It is late here, so goodnight. .

Mazars and Deutsche Bank could have ended this nightmare before it started. They could still get him out of office. But instead, they want mass death. Don’t forget that.
These pleas for sterile/non-interactive discourse speaks to a particular form of privilege enjoyed here in the U.S. The privilege of OBSERVING FROM AFAR, opining (largely by proxy, passively, in the form of pasted articles) in virtual environments, safely removed from real-world interactions and exposure, while LIVELIHOODS are directly impacted and LIVES are LOST due to the actions perpetrated by various brokers in positions of power.
These topics demand scrutiny. Questions should rightly be raised whenever warranted. It is a privilege, a luxury, to place questions on "ignore" while millions elsewhere are directly, adversely (at times, severely/mortally) impacted by the topics discussed here.
Carry on, however: continue to tend to your gardens.

I think that's true, and ultimately it's the reason we got Trump.

I'm not sure that I can disagree with Mac, mainly because he was so vague. Surely there are at least 3 Americans who meet his description (hardly a condemnation); surely not all do. Too bad he went to bed before he could clarify.
Mac, my last post attempted to return this thread to the title’s subject matter. I'm tired of the tirade of insults and cruel, personal derision.
Instead of addressing that, we’re subjected to a defensive denial of imagined accusations and another denial of the clearly posted insults on a previous post.
The reference to “tag team” applies to supporters enjoying a team sport by taking turns attacking a mutual opponent or target. It is in common usage and is readily understood to apply to a group of people circling and attacking their shared victim, taking turns, keeping the pressure on. Relentlessly.
The reference to the AM UK forum illustrated the planned and co-ordinated joint attack on RI, AD and SLAD officially arranged there and launched from there by its members – exactly what has been taking place here before our eyes. I didn't name those involved, nor you.
I recognized these AM participants still here harassing AD, SLAD and RI as part of their common modus operandi. I did not name nor accuse anyone as the so-called BODAM operatives despite that forum’s description of RI hit teams by sending their members here precisely for that, and to attack AD and SLAD.
I referred to it as information for our members to understand a behind-the-screens orchestrated strategy that many have been aware of and can verify independently. Others, taking events at face value here, would not realize a rival forum had us in their sights for fomenting fights.
I also cast no aspersions about Marx, just noting the anti-American commentary and accompanying support of Marx in an earlier, revealing message of your feelings. I objected to the ignorant stereotyping on principle. having respect for Americans.
While reading the subsequent, most recent defensive denials and qualifiers about selective targeting, stereotyping by nationality, and quite independent attacks on AD, despite quoting others previously involved, the attempted association with literary giants is patently laughable. That association is a further, yet typical, insult to our intelligence. Your writing is anything but kind, compassionate, insightful and empathetic.
A self-conscious and defensive perusal of posts for insinuations and implications will inevitably find them.
Methinks thou dost protest too much.
Now, reverting to The Socialist Response subject matter, how do you react to labels?

I thought Mac said three posters here fit that description. That's not vague at all and why I thought your prompting Mac was an "unhealthy path" - I thought you took advantage of my formatting to present the question to Mac!
Anyway Mac came back with a measured response so all is relatively well.
It gets weird in here.

A Fair Witness assumes nothing. I'd rather let him speak for himself. And if you don't mind I'd rather have a conversation with him on my own--for clarification. I don't need any help. Thanks. But if you must decide for me what I say, how I frame my questions, and whether I ask them at all, I guess you're going to do it anyway.
I guess I didn't realize how controlling I have been of you.
Can I set you free?

You misunderstand me. Your proscriptions don't affect me.
