Or was it?<hr></blockquote> Yeah, they continue to act as if Karr turned himself in, whereas in fact he was hunted down and an arrest warrant was executed. I heard some interesting speculation the other night-because the DA has not filed charges and has not taken a DNA sample from Karr, (attorneys insist samples were not taken in Bangkok) she may in fact have arrested him as a material witness. We can't know for sure, as the warrant and affidavit remain sealed.

I see a lot of derision on the net in general about Karr's claim that JonBenet's death was accidental, as if there was no way that it could have been accidental. But if the perps were engaged in auto-erotic asphyxiation, it very well could have been accidental. What I'm confused about, IF this is what happened, is why the only vaginal penetration suggested in the autopsy report was likely to have been digital. If I read it right, there was still some hymenal membrane intact. If the killers were in fact engaged in auto-erotic asphyxiation, why wasn't there more damage, since I would assume, probably incorrectly, that intercourse was the goal. On the other hand, there's the blow to the head that doesn't seem to fit in with the accident theory.

The detectives interviewing her were quite focused on bringing out this point. JonBenet could have died "accidently" before the entire act was, er (God it makes me sick to even write the details) finished.

Sorry if this is triggering. Short on time this afternoon, will go back and read later in the day. What I do seem to remember with regards to Krebs is the part about the perps knocking the kids in the head as punishment, as bruises there never showed. However, I think I read that the blow to JB's head was enough to have caused irreversible brain damage and that it most likely would have killed her, even without the strangulation. Now, I don't know that that was in the autopsy itself. It may have been in one of the linked writers who was trying to make the case against Patsy. But, you would think that RA people would know enough (experience) not to hit a little kid that hard, mainly because it would result in an investigation and medical examination, if not an autopsy. That kind of blow would seem more likely to result from an explosion of anger, or something related. So, the blow to the head is one of the things I don't understand with regards to possible RA. The other has to do with the limited vaginal penetration not being worse. I guess the question I have is, during auto-erotic asphyxiation, do RA perps digitally penetrate the vaginas? If so, what is the explanation? I WILL go back and read more of this entire thread.

OK. so this may be somewhat oblique, and my own thinking on it is still a bit foggy, lots of loose ends. and a WARNING: may be triggering. just in case. this comes from a seemingly anomalous thought that kept popping in - Denver Murals - whilst reading through the initial posts when this round of the Ramsey case erupted. today I finally got a little time to go look for the Denver Murals, not a subject I'm well-versed in, but it sort of ties with some other indications. ok. Karr friend Wendy Nichols from Hamilton, Alabama say's Karr confessed to "being there" in 1997. (from my own recollection of the interview with Rita Cosby) Karr:"Do you want to know why there were no footprints in the snow?" Wendy N: No Karr: I can tell you why - because I was there! *** Cosby: Did he say he did it? Wendy N: No, he said he was there. Further, Nichols says he backed off when she said if this is true she would have to contact the police.

First impression: Notice how Patsy cannot answer a straight question concerning JBR's underwear. I can tell you, as the mother of a daughter, you do not allow your little girl to wear panties made for a child twice her size. Noticed also the red sweater worn by PR on the night of the murder matches fibers found in the paint tray, which had been moved from upstairs some time before the murder. Lin Wood would not allow her to answer questions in this regard. In fact, Wood often interrupted and diverted questions uncomfortable to PR. They are not yet old enough to develope proper hygiene habits. PR would have us believe she took no part in such training. I was seventeen when my uncle was murdered. I hadn't seen him for two weeks prior to that horrible day, but I remember everything he said, everything he did the day I last saw him, and the days prior to that. Is PR. seriously trying to tell us she blocked out the little routines and other memories of the last day of her childs life?

Rita Cosby just on to report on Wendy Nichols story. This time, she claims Wendy Nichols said Karr said "I did it." Nichol's did not say this in the prior taped interview. In fact, Cosby did not re-air Wendy N. segment, just a Hamilton attorney vouching for her credibility. Why is Cosby misrepresenting this woman's statements? edited to write: Cosby just aired a more complete segment of the Nichols interview. Apparently, Nichols said both; quoting Karr: "I did it." and answered the question- "Did he say he did it?" N:No, he said he was there." Gee, lady, get consistent. The child is six years old. Is she seriously trying to tell these people she does not know what her routine is? Patsy was involved enough in the routine when getting ready to go to the party to have the child dress in an outfit that matched her own, black pants, red turtleneck tops, if I remember right.

I know they found her incredible, considering her many evasions. What I want to know is, why the hell this didn't seem to matter? I mean, they only requested Patsy's red sweater that she wore on the night of the murder and still had on that morning, a year later. That item, along with many others, was removed from the house the day after the murder by PR's sister, along with numerous other items. Why? These people had some scary, scary connections.

IMO, the public was mislead on this point A good tool for police and DA's who don't have subpoena power, testimony from the Ramsey's could have been crucial. The Ramsey's were only ever interviewed pursuant to several conditions. Read the last interview I linked. The police were not allowed to ask any questions that had already been asked in prior interviews, which tied police hands in regards to pinning down previous evasions and lies. Well guess what? The Ramsey's were not called before the GJ.
