(Just kidding around but ya never know is a good stance. Meanwhile, we WILL take those next-stage steps and hope it protects us against further occurrences.)

Re: Intermittent Board Shutdowns Likely [mysqli error]
It's the only Lars von Trier film I’ve watched all the way to the end, again and again. (But, I could never understand why the sisters Justine and Claire had such different accents—did Claire attend a more exclusive boarding school—where?) One to watch now w/an eye to which of the three main characters viewer most identifies with, day to day, while facing possible doom. (Yesterday I felt most like Kiefer Sutherland’s ‘John’, but if I were still married to my second husband, he'd probably always be John and I’d mostly be ‘Claire’, switching sometimes to ‘Justine’ I when I got fed up with feeling so needy.)JackRiddler » Fri Mar 27, 2020 10:40 am wrote:Jeez, it's like you guys never saw Melancholia.
(A movie much on my mind these days, so I watched it again for the first time since the theater run. DO SO!)
If Justine just wanted to shut her boss up, a tagline for Coronavirus from Healthgrade's:

Re: Intermittent Board Shutdowns Likely [mysqli error]
Heads up, the phantom visitors, which could be the product of an attempted DDOS or just an artifact of some totally unrelated shitfuckery on our host servers, are back. Up to 800 at a time, which means we're seeing Mysqli errors again. Your management totally sucked at the job of attempting any solutions to prevent recurrences of this thing -- which is entirely my own, personal fault. But so far the board seems robust. I've seen like a couple of the Mysqli errors, over a period when it would have been 20 or 30 back when this was at its worst. Anyone having big trouble? (I am assuming that no answer means relatively no trouble so far -- there is no need for everyone to post here if your news is good).

yep
"O Oysters," said the Carpenter,
"You've had a pleasant run!
Shall we be trotting home again?'
But answer came there none--
And this was scarcely odd, because
They'd eaten every one.

GUESTS SHUT OUT FOR A WHILE
HI, everyone, the new Mysqli Storm has gotten worse and in our latest experiment to combat it, we have barred board access to guests. Guests can't read the forums during this. Logged-in users should have no trouble. Sorry!
