Yogurt Company Chobani Sues Alex Jones For Defamation
ByKRISTIN SALAKYPublishedAPRIL 24, 2017, 4:17 PM EDT

Chobani, of Greek yogurt fame, is suing conspiracy theorist and InfoWars founder Alex Jones for linking the company’s founder, Hamdi Ulukaya, to an assault that happened at an apartment complex in Idaho, the Idaho Statesman reported Monday.
The lawsuit, filed in Idaho District Court, accuses Jones of publishing false information linking Ulukaya to the 2014 incident of three immigrant boys who sexually assaulted a 5-year-old girl in a laundry room. Right-wing sites, including InfoWars, got ahold of the story and included false information in regards to the incident, saying that a rape had occurred and that it was actually a group of men who attacked the girl: the boys were 14, 10 and 7, according to the Idaho Statesman.
InfoWars included Ulukaya in its coverage of the incident, saying that he was importing “migrant rapists” and saying that his practices of hiring refugees brought in high crime and tuberculosis to the area. The suit accuses InfoWars of misrepresenting Chobani’s owner and Chobani’s products.
The suit also claims that Chobani and Ulukaya, who is a Turkish immigrant himself, have asked Jones to take the videos and stories down to no avail.
Chobani is asking for damages in excess of $10,000, according to the suit.
Yow! I don't know whether to thank you for that or not. Jones clearly has a personality disorder. Everything is about him at all times. I have long said that his voice cancels out any sort of integrity he may have. Apparently people like listening to voices like that, as if the tone and volume mean something.
Like 17 years ago or so just the name "infowars" said HOKEY! Kinda like Red Ice Creations. HOKEY. Some things just do not come off as real when they name shit like that. I kinda had the same feelings for Information Clearing House but they semi check out as far as being legit. Who the fuck knows? But Jones is a fucking idiot. I can't believe he is like a year older than me! I am 42.

Wow, is he ever spiraling down fast. The explosion when he crashes and burns will be spectacular.
He is really quite mad. He complains he's under attack by the press but admits he refuses them interviews and tells to write whatever they want, which they do and he complains more. He should go on vacation until after his civil suit is settled and not talk publicly. If he values retaining some sort of custody, he should temporarily exit the scene. I think most would understand his absence if he was up front and told his audience he needed to concentrate on fighting his custody battle.

People need to start asking what Jones', trump's, Bannon's etc favorite songs are. Or at the very least favorite bands or something. Any wild guesses?

Surprisingly, Warren Beatty was quite friendly with Ronald and Nancy Reagan. After screening his film "Reds" for them, they were winding down the night and Ronald quipped, "There's no business *but* show business."

Are you giving him advice? If he was capable of such common sense wisdom, would he be who he is, or would he be in this situation in the first place? He is acting as programmed (in the broadest sense of neurosis, not implying a planned conditioning). And when he loses, he will try (and possibly succeed) in turning the saga into an MRA cause celebre, or blaming it on the THEM of the moment. It will become part of the show -- until such time as ratings drop or advertisers depart.

Jones will probably level up to host or have his own cable reality show soon focusing more on him as a personality than his "insights and news".
Less of the "Info" and more of the "Wars".
He's one of the few celeb-subpersonalities whose extremo-meter is on par with the zeitgeist right now.
The details in his "news" and "theories" only slow him down and are really secondary to his persona and base demographic of lumpy xenophobic half ass-preppers who are heroes in their own mind and long ago woke up and broke from the stupid sheeple.
A show of him running around raging at islamo-fascists, ex-wives, the Illuminati, fake corporate news, Hilary, etc ripping his shirt off and shredding his vocal cords like some stunted Rush Limbaugh, Hulk Hogan hybrid would appeal to many, irregardless of the faux stories he espouses.
Him being marginalized, martyred, messed with legally, etc. only brings out the marginalized in his favor and feeds their persecution complexes.
At least, that is what Wes says.

This is the full, uncut press conference on April 28th, 2017.
Alex Jones called all media outlets to the steps of the Austin Courthouse to do two things: Set the record straight concerning his child custody trial, and to say to their faces that their underhanded tactics are only helping to destroy traditional corporate media.

Sounds about right. The modern era of this began with Raygun, Mr. Teflon himself. Nothing bad sticks to these guys, in fact the shit acts like black gold, aka compost which makes their tales blossom for the lotus-eaters.

Astounding display of arrogance. He has lost custody of his children, as his wife has at least temporarily been awarded custody in that their children will now be living with her until (and probably will continue living primarily with her once the jury renders their verdict.)
I don't believe AJ reads RI, so no, Jack, I wasn't giving him advice. Just some thoughts I felt like sharing.
Of course Jones didn't fail to mention his wife's hospitalization for mental illness or what legal actions he then took to alter the custody sharing agreement to his favor or that he was the cause his wife's illness.
