Neurologist Diagnoses Trump With ‘Cognitive Failure’ – Mental Ability Limited (DETAILS)
By Carissa House-Dunphy - April 19, 2017
As the oldest elected president in history, Donald Trump’s failure to release any real medical records is more than questionable, it’s downright alarming. That fact becomes even more alarming considering the obvious evidence of his rapidly failing short-term memory, especially in recent days.
Neurologist and cognitive function specialist Dr. Brenda J. Iannucci believes that these lapses in memory may be the result of a failing frontal lobe leading to cognitive impairment that, even when mild, could have serious consequences for even the average person, much less a person currently serving in the highest office in the land.
While Trump has consistently obscured facts and wildly misstated details that are far too easily debunked to be considered much of anything beyond blatant lies, recent obvious lapses in his short-term memory are becoming an even greater concern. During Sunday’s Easter Egg Roll, for instance, a child asked Trump to sign his red “Make America Great Again” hat. Trump complied and just seconds later, seemed to forget that the hat belonged to the child and tossed it into the crowd as folks yelled over his error.
Even worse, Trump seemed to forget which country he had just ordered bombed during a Fox News interview and had to be reminded by his interviewer, Maria Bartiromo, as he went off on a tangent about “the most beautiful piece of chocolate cake” during his answer about the Syrian bombing. In yet another incident on Easter Sunday, Trump seemed to forget how to behave during the National Anthem and had to be reminded by his wife to place his hand over his heart. Trump also forgot Paul Ryan’s name on Tuesday, repeatedly calling him “Ron.” Despite the fact that Trump works with Ryan on an almost daily basis, he could not keep the man’s name straight during a speech to Paul Ryan’s hometown crowd in Wisconsin.
These lapses in memory may be indicative of a much worse problem than Trump just being a ridiculous person with no experience whatsoever in public service at the level he’s suddenly achieved. According to Dr. Iannucci, the problem may lie in the president’s rapidly failing brain.
It’s not exactly the most comforting of thoughts, but it certainly does explain a lot.

I watched some CNN documentary about the 80s last night and they had Steven Tyler as a bit of a story and was like holy shit, he looks like Melania.
I dunno. Maybe a stretch. But just something I noticed. I am not saying anything profound here. Keep that in mind.

eh, I'm not a Dream On fan. Maybe I'm not a Dream On fan because I'm an asshole? haha
As far as I'm concerned, there's only one good aerosmith song, that I heard on the radio one time. But I can't remember the name of it, and I don't care to look it up. No, not Sweet Emotion.
You know what would be fun... actually, no it wouldn't. I was going to say it would be fun if this thread turned into a discussion about rock. But I don't like rock anymore. No, not even Jimi Hendrix. I know, what an asshole, right?
Maybe a thread about Ozzy. That might be fun. You know Ozzy is braindead now, but his evil spirit is very much eternal. It floats around like a dark cloud, possessing the unwary and the willing.
It's only a natural progression, to go from pro-wrestling to rock. You can change the title of the thread to "The rock n' wrestling connection is seriously dangerous."
This reminds me of something else. I was having a conversation recently about how Howard Stern created troll-culture. Don't try to follow my thought process, you might hurt yourself.
Someone pointed out to me that if it wasn't Howard, it would have been someone else. I said they're probably right.

Not a bad pick, though supposedly he's all mellow now (no idea, I don't listen to him). I'd pick Morton Downey, if you want a direct progenitor of the current American versions. But if you think of trolling as a kind of bullying, macho-man confusionism that seeks to degrade language until only power determines meaning, then you may agree that the forms of trolling are ancient, the traditions many.

In my defense, my dad got me into Howard when I was very young and didn't know any better. Haven't listened in many years. Not since I grew a soul.
Both good points, about Morton Downey, and that trolling is nothing new. Morton may be a better archetypal representation of the current individual troll. But I was thinking more about the culture surrounding Howard. The fanatic-obsessive cesspool as crowdsourced in-joke meme generator. Kind of a template. Something awfully close. The shock for the sake of shock, nothing redeeming. Mean-spirited unfunny posing as humor. The sycophants, fame-chasers, a-list celebrities to z-list "celebrities" who jump on the bandwagon because they smell a chance for some buzzy attention. The disrespect of boundaries, people's right to privacy. The drive-time working and middle class gawkers, keeping the whole thing running on silent, tacit approval.
Howard himself isn't the archetypal troll, though. Too intelligent. He's more the example that a kid in high school who was too socially adroit to be cool kid, too unathletic to be a jock, and too intelligent to be a nerd, if given the chance, could prove that he can be just as much of a vapid, cliquey shit as the rest.

No, everything you say is right, Stern was very innovative or in any case an early adopter on all these elements you describe that flowed into the RW bully-trolling style but also became the talk culture generally, independent of the pretense to being political. Everyone's worthless and worthy of a thorough thrashing, and there should be nothing proportionate or limited about it, and it should come with a lot of farts and porn sounds. I have no idea why people can stand to listen to it more than a few times, but they do. Downey I think was among the first with an audience of that size to capture the combination of right-wing America The Wounded flag-waving bomb-em-all outrage in the screaming format of professional wrestling. Then again, this is what we remember, being close enough in age and around for these two. No doubt it was happening and developing before both of them and we weren't noticing. I do in a way wish Trump was as famous in America as he was in New York already in the 1980s, hell 1970s, or he might not have been able to pull off this "just a businessman" act on enough of the late-adopting rubes of so many states.

I agree with Downey's role, but let's not forget former Mayor of Cincinnati, Jerry Springer, if you're naming those who loosed the evil Jinn.

Yes but Donahue broke the seal on the bottle of Jinn.
