BBC reports that the Endeavor launch has been delayed by at least 48-hours... liftoff on May Day?

Nasa has delayed the launch of its Endeavour shuttle by at least 48 hours because of technical problems in the last hours before lift-off.

The orbiter is being held on the ground while engineers investigate a hitch with the vehicle's onboard heaters.

The youngest of America's reusable orbiters is set to deliver a $2bn (£1.2bn) particle physics experiment to the International Space Station (ISS).

US President Barack Obama and was due to attend the lift-off in Florida.

Also present at the Kennedy Space Center is Endeavour commander Mark Kelly's wife, Gabrielle Giffords, the Arizona politician shot in the head by a gunman in January.

Lift-off for Endeavour had been targeted for 1547 local time (1947 GMT; 2047 BST).

They said they delayed the launch due to some serious problems found, which is never good. Fresh in people's memory is of course the Challenger explosion and 17 years later almost to the day the Columbia explosion. Of course, the news that trumped all these events is of course the tornado situation, which is being called one of the worst in recorded US history.

A study group (of my friends) has determined that the angle of the dangle is incorrect for anything unfunny to be going on. After some consideration I agree.

And I'm proud to say that the only photos of the Royal Wedding that I've seen are in this thread.
