Watching this is like watching soccer. I was clocked in until 10 pm EST today. These results are being watched closely, dang.

I'm stunned that "Leave" keeps taking the lead, this really has the potential to be a massive monkey wrench for neoliberalism.

^^ great site, by the way with a lot of details. I know very little about internal GB politics, but it is interesting to see most of Scotland voting to remain while much of England and Wales is voting to exit. My granddad was born in Pontarddulais, Wales, so I have a tiny tie to the country.

Yep... looking at their site, the Exit vote keeps growing as they count more and more counties (if that's what they're called). There's a 900,000 vote lead for Exit with only 67 places left to register their votes. The gap was only 500,000 with 144 still to register earlier. Wow. I'm stunned.

The UK has voted by 52% to 48% to leave the European Union after 43 years in an historic referendum, a BBC forecast suggests.
London and Scotland voted strongly to stay in the EU but the remain vote has been undermined by poor results in the north of England.
Voters in Wales and the English shires have backed Brexit in large numbers.

This could precipitate the dissolution of the entire United Kingdom. Did not expect such a decisive win for Brexit.

Wow! As I traveled this afternoon, the radio reports coming in were in favor of "remain." Turning the radio on as I arrived home late this evening, BBC is now reporting the margins are large enough in favor of "leave" that the result is certain despite the final count not yet being in. So the Brexit is happening. I did not expect this at all. Watershed moment.

Holy Shit. I was aware of a growing support to leave the EU, but I never really thought the vote would go this way, or that it wouldn't be manipulated to support remaining in the EU if the vote turned out against the establishment. Stunned.
