Edit: I was surprised by the amount of traffic I was hearing outside, seeing as no one is supposed to leave their home, until I looked out and found that the constant flow of traffic this morning on the road by my house consists entirely of police cars and "official-looking" trucks and motorcycles. People have mentioned Gladio. It's worrisome to think a full on 2008 Mumbai style attack or some sort of Beslan situation could happen in America.

The dead one is the older brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev (auspicious name). That quote is from a photospread about him boxing which you can see here; some of the other quotes make it clear that he was a chap who took religion pretty serious. His family fled Chechnya in the early 1990s. The surviving (for now, I guess) brother is the younger one, Dzokhar. Also an auspicious name, it is the well-remembered first name of the first president of independent Chechnya, Dzhokhar Dudayev. Dzokhar Tsarnaev would have been born five or so years after the Russians killed Dudayev. He seems to have been just as hectic as his brother, and has posted a jihadi video calling for brothers to join the fight in Syria on his social media page.
