Directed energy weapon, Stickdog? Do you have any photographic or video recorded evidence of damage done to any structure by an airborne or space-based directed energy weapon to compare to the damage done by these fires?
If you do believe these fires were caused by directed energy weapons, who do you imagine committed this gross crime and what do you believe their motive for doing it to be?

I would almost certainly remember. Care to PM me who you were? And sorry, I did not "recognize" you.Blue » 17 Oct 2017 00:48 wrote:Yeah, rich white guys always turn into mass shooters, and global warming always sets off 17 "wild" fires within a 24 hour period that seek out houses and cars and leave trees unscathed.
i realize that neither of these events seem anomalous to you because they both fit your own political agenda perfectly. Rich white people with guns are bad. So it is no surprise to you that one turned into a suicidal stranger-only mass shooter for the first time in human history.
Human activity upsetting ecological balance is bad. So it is no surprise to you that this randomly set off 17 "wild" fires within a 24 hour period that made cars look like they were parked at ground zero on 9/11 while leaving the trees above these cars unscathed.
No reason to look at the pictures at all because they are just a figment of my lack of sleep or perspective or obsession or something.
Thanks for the sincere concern, Blue, whoever you are.
I was giving sincere concern, stick. I've mostly agreed with your posts since I was a poster the same time you were at DU years ago (under another name you probably wouldn't remember anyway).
I really don't understand why you are accusing me of an agenda?!? Never said the things you are accusing me of. And yes, it is terrifying and shocking and unbelievable what is happening right now to Planet Earth. But man, I used to work with glaciologists in the 1980's and this is WHAT THEY PREDICTED.

That was just a wild theory I was throwing around here for feedback. Hence the title of the thread. But the motive would be the same as the motive for arson. To profit off the others' disasters.Iamwhomiam » 17 Oct 2017 05:26 wrote:Directed energy weapon, Stickdog? And nobody is ruling out arson at this point. Are they?

https://ascendingstarseed.wordpress.com ... wildfires/
Deadly wildfires in Northern California are burning up marijuana farms in the so-called Emerald Triangle.
Blazes have destroyed a number of farms in Mendocino County right before legal recreational sales begin in California.
Cannabis business owners who lose their crops have little reprieve.
“Nobody right now has insurance,” said Nikki Lastreto, secretary of the Mendocino Cannabis Industry Association. “They might have insurance on their house, but not on their crop.”
Cannabis cultivators cannot insure their businesses because federal law prohibits marijuana, which means that financial institutions can’t go near it.
Derek Peterson, CEO of Terra Tech, which grows and sells marijuana in California, estimates that farmers typically invest upward of $5 million in their facilities and as much as $3 million on growing the crop itself.
“If their facilities burn down, a lot of these people won’t be able to get any economic relief for them from an insurance claim,” Peterson said. “There’s no mechanism for recovery to repay them for their loss. It’s a tremendous risk for these people.”
Josh Drayton, spokesman for the California Cannabis Industry Association, said it’s too early to tell just how many of the state’s estimated 10,000 to 15,000 marijuana farms have burned down.
He expects “the devastation is going to be larger than anybody would hope it to be.”
Lastreto, co-founder of the cultivator Swami Select, said she knows several people who lost their farms already. Those who haven’t lost everything are harvesting early so the crops don’t get burned down or tainted from smoke.
“A lot of plants have been lost in the fire, especially in Sonoma County,” she said. “In southern Mendocino County, there are farms burning right now.”

Sure, they correctly predicted worse fires.Blue » 17 Oct 2017 00:48 wrote:Yeah, rich white guys always turn into mass shooters, and global warming always sets off 17 "wild" fires within a 24 hour period that seek out houses and cars and leave trees unscathed.

But that doesn't mean that 17 separate fires in 12 hours is not suspicious.
This guy explains why the fires would be expected to be worse, but these exact fires are still extremely suspicious. Fast forward the above video to the 13:15 mark to see what I mean.

exploding gas tank?
or just a car fire from the gas?
have you never seen a burnt out spot on the highway?
note green grass and trees not burned

Mazars and Deutsche Bank could have ended this nightmare before it started.
They could still get him out of office.
But instead, they want mass death.
Don’t forget that.

The main fire was to the right and out of the photo though there is a small strip of burnt grass between the road and the unburned vineyard.km artlu » Tue Oct 17, 2017 6:46 am wrote:^^^ The image directly above is....puzzling to me.

The fire is carried by burning embers in the wind. There some parts of an auto highly flammable (gas, tire, and interior) so any start is likely to fully combust the vehicle.

Re: Wild theory about Santa Rosa wildfires
No one is categorically saying it wasn't arson, just probably not arson via directed energy weapon. Not believing the craziest version of a story is not the same as not believing the story at all.stickdog99 » Tue Oct 17, 2017 10:03 am wrote:All Clear on 10/8:

Re: Wild theory about Santa Rosa wildfires
Does seem like arsonists are behind this.
But, what type of arsonist can do this?:
Lightning strikes? [edit: PufPuf93 offers an explanation further back]
I think this is a different tree to the one PufPuf93 posted.
"Matthew McDermott was scoping out potential wildfire escape routes when he came across this tree with a blaze burning inside in Schellville, California. The Sonoma, California, resident was desperately searching for an escape route Monday as wildfires that had ignited the night before raced through parts of Northern California and began to surround the area where he lived.
He'd been driving around all night, and was in the nearby town of Schellville, when he saw something that stopped him in his tracks -- a tree full of fire."
fwiw, from another forum, someone posted this regarding devastation to homes and cars:
"The Oakland Hills fire 1991 did exactly that. There was a hot wind, increasing in speed, and heat as it descended the slope with added embers ( some the size of a baseball) increasing the speed and heat so you get a blast furnace effect for a certain distance. I investigated it post-fire and you could see the cars as puddles of molten metal, toilets as piles of white sand. It's natural forces combined with the human built environment that amplifies it."

Guess that arsonists are more prevalent than I thought, from 3 months ago:
edit: That is mad how buildings are obliterated but trees look untouched nearby.
