This has got to be the first time I have really wanted to chat on RI in like 5 years (today was the Zelensky press conference). Is the technical reboot still on the table? Currently I have to refresh my queries about 5-10 times before accessing any page here.

An RI Discord server would be cool. I can set that up if anyone is interested (if there isn't one already?)

Jeff is posting on X, but still manages to pay the server bill here, which has no Admin function with the current errors happening.

A Discord server would be an upgrade for sure.

Anyway to get another copy of the archives here? I lost mine in a hard-drive crash. Also, can discord link to be inked to the massive archive here? I'm not familiar with discord, but super frustrated with the abandonment and error messages.

Also, I'm not into Discord, but could spin up a Discourse for RI. It's not that hard, especially now that AI is replacing all junior devs.

The world is nuts, and I'm finding the big sm apps more confoundingly censorious than ever. Sometimes I just want to post where someone might actually read what I've written.

Great to see you here again, PW -- even if only sporadically (which increasingly is my tendency as well).

Echo all your sentiments above. Hopefully someone will be able to reply to you soon to allow your 'entry' into the 'backdoor' of this anachronistic site, which -- for the reasons you call out -- is increasingly a preferred platform as it minimizes the extent of 'algorithmic censoring' (and other methods).
