One of mine. Chiefly because I've thought for a long time that "Liberation" needed a video.
A nod to the spiritual aspect of the Occupation Movement, with video of Jewish, Christian, Muslim, interfaith and post-faith services at Occupy Wall Street, the faces of Spanish Indignants, and images of police brutality and mass mobilization from Oakland, set to the music of Martyn Bennett's "Liberation."

All credit to the original videographers, Martyn Bennett, the Occupiers and Indignants.

..

No question.

Listen to this guy's music yer entire life, somethin' wierd has just gotta happen to your head.

Everyone says they don't understand Jon's lyrics.

I bet Jon only begins to understand them after he has written them.

I think this is a work of Prophecy, and you can take take that either literally or figuratively or whatever, because we ought to do away entirely with the distinction between literally and figuratively.

In Reality, there is no distinction.

Profoundly Relative are all the expressions of Human Thought.

Anyway. Onto the music, oh and the Lyric! Hear the Lyric!

Everybody hated the album at the time, representing what they thought was the worst excesses of prog. You lot can make your own mind up;

Part 1

Part 2

I was going to cut and paste the lyrics but I think I shall type them transcribed from my own CD sleeve. I shall offer this typing work up to my higher self in humble service;

Dawn of light lying between a silence and sold sources
chased amid fusions of wonder in moments hardly seen forgotten,
coloured in pastures of chance dancing leaves cast spells of challenge,
amused but real in thought, we fled from the sea whole.

Dawn of thought transferred through moments of days undersearching earth
revealing corridors of time provoking memories disjointed but with purpose,
craving penetrations offer links with the self instructor's sharp
and tender love as we took to the air a picture of distance.

Dawn of our power we amuse redescending as fast as misused
expression as only to teach love as to reveal passion chasing
late into corners, and we danced from the ocean.

Dawn of love sent within us colours of awakening among the many
wont to follow only tunes of a different age. As the links span our endless caresses for the freedom of life everlasting.

Talk to the sunlight caller
soft summer mover distance mine.

Dogs that lick
And dogs that bite
Hounds that howl
Through the night
Broken leashes
Are all over the floor
Keys left hanging
In a swinging door.
