Dude...
What?
It's not so much that I disagreed with him (except for 'woo' whatever the fuck that is), it's just that I agree with his general thesis so much that I couldn't stand to hear his self-caricaturing, pathetically antisocial, and totally counterproductive inner monolog any more.
And yes, I think that name was the mouthpiece for a person with ulterior motives and not some cranked out paranoiac who couldn't get laid. Most of the time when a person is always accusing others of being infiltrators - it's them.
And I can't imagine why it took this long. I don't even care what the last straw was - just, BRAVISSIMO mods!
Although Hugh is no longer a board member, let's stay away from labeling him (or anyone else) a robot, a non-person, a group of people, or a disinfo agent, and for fuck's sake, no more personal attacks.

Hugh did PM me shortly before he was banned, saying that he accepts that I've been sincere (i.e. not an "agent"), which was nice.
But for the grace of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, I could easily be "the apostrophe guy" constantly correcting "its" and "it's" etc. How annoying would THAT be? Or I could be "the credit union guy" who constantly ties in "banks vs. credit unions" with every thread subject.

^ I suppose it gets tiresome to some but the fact is, it's easy to forget or not think about just how much carnage and mayhem the "intelligence" outfits of two grotesquely self-regarding nations, US and its mothership UK, specifically London, can accomplish. Basically, all of it, at least all we hear about. In fact that's why we hear about it. On Friday I happened to catch an MI6-Jazeera TV broadcast on a local PBS channel and it was chock full of hideous scenes of mass butchery carried out by "terrists" in Libya and "al Qaeda" in Côte d'Ivoire and "rebels" and now their latest invention "Shabiha" in Syria and I realized that every single damn story of vividly photographed mutilation was courtesy of you know who, and nobody does a damn thing about it, why? At least partly because the entire culture, high and low, mainstream and alternative, has been hijacked to make the whole depraved business invisible and unspeakable, meaning nobody but the outcasts dare to speak up about it. That's worth a little irritation to be apprised of don't you think?

It isn’t just self-martyred “outcasts” who are attuned to covert intel distortions, deflections, diversions and disinformation in the data streams worldwide. The distinction is in discerning and identifying actual intel tampering with documented evidence, insider testimony and victim witnesses, as opposed to purely imaginative accusations based on unsupported assumptions, fears, prejudice and paranoia.
The objections causing your umbrage are based upon the false accusations from a fanatical focus known for confabulating chaotically and thus confusing and confounding any convincing case for CIA constructs and contaminations. If you were truly concerned for accuracy in intel exposure you wouldn’t sanction unbridled speculation, supposition and imagined associations being presented as scientific research and fact. That credulity only serves to cover it all up with crap.

Ok, I'm gonna come out & say it. Even though I also have mod status. I miss hugh too. I found him to actually be very pleasant in PM (was talking to him about my strong dislike with the whole Disney Princess thing, it's insidious) But I did find he rode Jeff a little too hard & yes, was disruptive on threads. I didn't like seeing abuse heaped on him, though. I don't like seeing it on anyone.
Hugh, if you are reading:
limes, ocean breese, fresh ground coffee, roasted garlic, jasmine, vanilla beans, tobasco sauce & sage fields.
(I'll agree, masala chai is pretty flippin' fantastic smelling, too)

speaking as someone who was gone a long time and is only recently venturing in again I notice the absence of several. They'll know who they are. I miss them.
