They are rattling my patio doors. They last for about three seconds apiece. Not an earthquake, but there has been one additional boom since I first posted.<br><br>I remember some years ago reading about naval ships firing missiles at the state from out in the Gulf ala Puerto Rico but I can't find a story on it anywhere. <p></p><i></i>

We've had terrific booming thunder here in Richmond, VA today. And since the weather has been like late Spring all winter who knows. The water can really carry military percussion, though. <p></p><i></i>
