he had been removed from my foes list and not by me, since putting him on there was the last thing I did in my user control panel and I know it had taken effect.

did you re-add it?
Most likely it got reset when I made changes to his account. We don't have a lot of experience with "foe lists" likely it's just an unexpected behavior of the system. Please re-add it.

ha ha..
yes, I re-added - but it was working and then not working, so I don't know when you made additional changes to his account but I guess it was after you fixed my problem, huh?
I'll be sure to let you know if other strangeness occurs.

One of them, though, that is quite strictly enforced, is that no one accuse anyone else of 'editing their posts' after replies have been made (see the recent giant smackdown Mac got for doing just that in the Marathon thread.) In light of the fact that such accusations draw such ire *and* can result in bannings, either temporary or permanent, it is very important that everyone be on the same playing field in that regard or at least be aware that they are not and whom it is that has the sanctioned upper hand.
To wit - The person who is able to edit backwards in time can easily play sillybuggers with the truth and make his/her opponent (for lack of a better word) appear to be being unreasonable or stupid or 'crazy' or whatever they want them to appear as.
I truly hope that this will apply evenly to all persons posting. I have no reason to believe otherwise with the current group of moderators, but I just want to say that it`s an awful place to be when the rules are arbitrarily applied.
