Roger Malina is the son of Czechoslovak-born Frank Malina, an early Elon Musk type who was part of the ragtag group whose daring rocket experiments in 1930s Pasadena led to the formation of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in L.A., the precursor to NASA.

Frank Malina’s best friend, Jack Parsons, was the most charismatic of the group. He led a double life with non-scientist friends like L. Ron Hubbard and Robert Heinlein, author of Stranger in a Strange Land, Starship Troopers, and other sci-fi classics. Parsons also joined an occult group involving the dark arts and sex fetishes founded by Aleister Crowley, an English occultist and magician. The book and CBS TV series Strange Angel are based on Parsons’ life.

In an odd echo of Jeffrey Epstein’s reported desire to seed the human race with his own DNA, Parsons and Hubbard tried for a time to impregnate women to bring forth Babalon, a goddess described as the “Scarlet Woman” in the Themelic belief system to which Crowley subscribed.

When Parsons died in a mysterious explosion at his home at age 37, he had stopped working for JPL and was for a time a consultant to Israel’s nascent rocket system. Media accounts at the time hinted at “sexual perversion,” “black robes,” “sacred fire” and “intellectual necromancy,” according to Vice—and there were also whispers that he might have been murdered.

The prosecution of the disgraced billionaire might be over, but global investigations into his inner circle of alleged enablers are only just beginning.


Among the names most mentioned are Ghislaine Maxwell and Jean-Luc Brunel.

Ghislaine Maxwell's friendship with Epstein goes back years, she was reportedly his girlfriend at one point. It's also claimed she played a significant part in the recruitment of girls and young women.

Jean-Luc Brunel ran successful French model agencies with high profile names on his books. It's alleged he also procured women for Epstein.

The pair haven't been seen since Epstein killed himself on 10 August, while facing trial for sex trafficking.

They've gone to ground, but Sky News understands they've recently been in the Brazilian riviera.

Information gathered by a former US police officer, who was not paid or commissioned by Sky News, shows that Brunel's phone was traced to the Infinity Blue Resort and Spa in Santa Catarina. It is an upmarket holiday area popular with wealthy tourists.

At the same time, Ghislaine Maxwell's phone was also connected to a network in Santa Catarina state.

Sky News visited the hotel but by the time we arrived there was no sign of either Brunel or Maxwell.

Epstein took his own life whilst at the Metropolitan Correctional Centre

Ghislaine Maxwell was last seen in Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts, in mid-August.

Brunel's lawyer denies he is on the run, insisting he is willing to cooperate with investigations.

Yet there has been no sign of him since 5 July when he was pictured partying at the exclusive members-only Paris Country Club. He was a guest at the club's Soiree Blanche where tables cost over £1000. This was his last public appearance.

Similarly, Ghislaine Maxwell hasn't been seen for weeks.

She shut down her ocean protection TerraMar Project in the US on 12 July, just six days after Epstein's arrest.

Sky News has learnt she has also formally started proceedings to shut the UK arm of the project too.

Companies House records show she signed off the closure on 13 August, three days after Epstein was found dead in his cell.

Maxwell and Brunel both enjoyed a lavish, luxury lifestyle, hanging out with huge names in politics, business and entertainment.

Since the death of Epstein questions have been asked about their role in his trafficking and abuse of young girls.

Ghislaine Maxwell, daughter of disgraced newspaper tycoon, Robert Maxwell, has been named in a number of papers filed in the US.

Among them a case brought by Virginia Roberts, now known as Virginia Roberts Giuffre.

She claimed Maxwell had recruited her as an underage teenager, to have sex with Jeffrey Epstein.

Her case also mentioned Prince Andrew. She says she had sex with him on three separate occasions when she was seventeen years old.

A statement from Buckingham Palace strenuously denied "any form of sexual contact or relationship with Virginia Roberts".

There has been much scrutiny of the Duke of York's friendship with Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein and Maxwell were among the guests at a large royal birthday party at Windsor Castle. They were also invited to Sandringham, the Queen's country retreat.

The Prince and Epstein were photographed holidaying together in Thailand, on board a private yacht surrounded by young women.

Even after Epstein was convicted of procuring a minor for prostitution and put on the sex offenders register, Prince Andrew continued seeing him.

They were photographed in 2010 walking in New York's Central Park. And video recently emerged from the same time, of Prince Andrew looking out from the door of Epstein's Manhattan mansion.

In a statement Prince Andrew said: "I have said previously that it was a mistake and an error to see him after his release in 2010 and I can only reiterate my regret that I was mistaken to think that what I thought I knew of him was evidently not the real person, given what we now know.

"This is a difficult time for everyone involved and I am at a loss to be able to understand or explain Mr Epstein's lifestyle. I deplore the exploitation of any human being and would not condone, participate in, or encourage any such behaviour."

The FBI is investigating claims from Epstein's alleged victims, which might include his links to Prince Andrew.

There are private cases underway too. Ghislaine Maxwell is named in a well-documented case brought by Jennifer Araoz.

Victoria Giuffre: 'He knows exactly what he's done'
Ms Araoz claims Epstein frequently masturbated in front of her and raped her. She's suing Epstein's estate and others including Ghislaine Maxwell.

She claims Maxwell was complicit in Epstein's sex-trafficking. Lawyers acting for Ms Araoz say they've not yet been able to serve her with legal papers because they cannot find her.

They've hired private investigators to try to find her, but so far her location remains unknown.

Other women have made similar claims against Ghislaine Maxwell, alleging she recruited them and facilitated encounters with Epstein.

Meanwhile in Paris, preliminary investigations are also underway into Epstein and his associates, relating to the rape and sexual assault of women and girls aged under fifteen.

Prosecutors in France are trying to find out whether claims of sex-trafficking took place on French soil.

As part of the investigations, one of the model agencies which was founded by Jean-Luc Brunel was recently searched.

Virginia Roberts Giuffre claims Brunel offered girls modelling jobs in the US, but was actually recruiting them for Epstein.

Brunel, who has been accused of sexual assault in the past, has strongly denied any wrongdoing in his work as a model agent.

His lawyer says he would help any investigation but hasn't yet been contacted.

The search for Jean-Luc Brunel and Ghislaine Maxwell is far from over.

Trump Teen Rape Allegation Resurfaces, Ronan Farrow Claims National Enquirer Tried to Protect Him in New Book

Amid behind-the-scenes details of his explosive reporting on Harvey Weinstein's alleged sexual misconduct, Ronan Farrow's new book Catch and Kill: Lies, Spies and a Conspiracy to Protect Predators claims that American Media Inc. (AMI), the former publisher of the National Enquirer, tried to help Donald Trump bury allegations he raped a teenager in 1994.
Farrow claims in the book that AMI CEO David Pecker was in close contact with Trump when the rape allegations were made public in a 2016 lawsuit, and that then-National Enquirer editor Dylan Howard assured Trump's personal lawyer at the time, Michael Cohen, "that they would track down the woman with the rape allegation and see what they could do about her." An AMI spokesperson told Newsweek Tuesday that Farrow's claims are "completely untrue."
AMI has been accused in the past of purchasing potentially damaging stories about Trump in order to keep them from becoming public—a practice known in the industry as "catch and kill." Last December, AMI admitted that in 2016 it made a $150,000 payment "in concert" with Trump's election campaign to former Playboy model Karen McDougal, who allegedly had an affair with Trump a decade earlier. The publisher made the pact with McDougal "in order to ensure that the woman did not publicize damaging allegations about the candidate before the 2016 presidential election," the U.S. Attorney's Office said.
At the crux of the lawsuit filed against Trump in the lead-up to the 2016 presidential election were claims that Trump raped a woman when she was 13 years old in 1994. At the time, Trump's lawyer Alan Garten responded to the lawsuit saying that the allegations are "categorically untrue."

The anonymous plaintiff—identified only as "Katie Johnson" in an initial legal filing that was dismissed in California, and "Jane Doe" in two subsequent legal filings in New York—said that she was raped by Trump during a party hosted by the now-deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein at his New York City apartment. In the third and final lawsuit, Doe alleged she had numerous sexual encounters with Trump and Epstein at the latter's parties and said she was also raped by Epstein, as BuzzFeed News reported at the time.
Among the lurid details of the lawsuit, Jane Doe alleged Trump tied her to a bed, "forcibly raped" her and threatened her and her family with physical harm, if not death, if she told anyone about the assault. "I understood that Mr. Trump and Mr. Epstein knew that I was 13 years old," Jane Doe wrote in an affidavit.
Farrow alleges that after the suit was filed in September 2016, Enquirer editor Howard and Trump lawyer Cohen were in contact frequently. (Cohen was sentenced to three years in prison last December on charges including campaign finance violations for his part in hush payments to McDougal and adult film star Stormy Daniels.)
"There was no opportunity to buy this story," Farrow writes, claiming that AMI chief Pecker—a longtime friend of Trump's—only found out about the lawsuit after it was filed.

Still, Farrow says, Howard, now chief content officer at AMI, tried to use his influence to convince Lisa Bloom, a power attorney who agreed to represent Jane Doe, to drop her client.
In November 2016, just days before the presidential election, Bloom suddenly announced a press conference with Jane Doe had been canceled, saying Doe had become frightened after receiving death threats. Two days later, Doe's lead attorney, Thomas Meager, filed to dismiss the case. Jane Doe has not been heard from since.
Speaking to Newsweek Tuesday, Bloom said that while the Enquirer editor "did tell me he thought Jane Doe lacked credibility ... that wasn't the reason she asked her other attorney to drop her case."
"After we received numerous death threats and my law firm's website and emails were hacked, she did not want to go forward," Bloom added.
Bloom also said that she did not enter any agreements with AMI on Doe's behalf. "I represented Ms. Doe for free and there was never any discussion of money or settlement as I strongly believed her allegations should be made public given that Donald Trump was running for president at that time."

That's an interesting development, and definitely lends the claim a bit more gravitas than it previously had, in terms of potential public visibility and credibility.

With a majority of Americans now seemingly desirous of seeing Trump not only impeached but REMOVED FROM OFFICE, I wonder if this case is primed to make a comeback?

Prince Andrew took part in an orgy with nine girls on disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein’s private island, one of their alleged victims has claimed.

Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who was pictured with the royal’s arm around her waist when she around 17 years old, made the allegation in US court documents.

The Duke of York has repeatedly denied the claim, but Ms Roberts Giuffre has said that they had sex on three occasions.

“The third time I had sex with Andy was in an orgy on Epstein’s private island in the US Virgin Islands,” she wrote in evidence to a Florida court in 2015. “I was around 18 at the time. Epstein, Andy, approximately eight other young girls, and I had sex together. The other girls all seemed and appeared to be under the age of 18 and didn’t really speak English.”

She added that Epstein, a convicted paedophile who took his own life in prison while awaiting trial on further child abuse charges in August, “laughed about the fact they couldn’t really communicate, saying that they are the ‘easiest’ girls to get along with”.

The allegations are explored in a Channel 4 Dispatches programme called The Prince and the Paedophile.

Mike Fisten, who played a key role in exposing Epstein’s crimes while working for an attorney representing some of the victims, told the programme that they could “never get access” to Epstein’s private island called Little St James, “so we never knew for sure what was going on”.

The former Florida detective added: “We knew that he had a helicopter on the mainland, and he would shuttle himself, his guests and girls back and forth to the island. He felt that he had free rein over there.”

Medical records that appear to support Ms Roberts Giuffre’s claim that she was abused by Epstein or others on separate occasions were obtained by Dispatches.

The documents from New York Presbyterian Hospital show that she was admitted on 9 July 2001 after three weeks of vaginal bleeding.


In a separate legal declaration from 2015, Ms Roberts Giuffre wrote: “Without going into the details of the sexual activities I was forced to endure, there were times when I was physically abused to the point that I remember fearfully thinking that I didn’t know whether I was going to survive.”

There is no suggestion that Prince Andrew was responsible for her injuries, but Dispatches has established that the royal met Epstein at least 10 times during their 12-year friendship and sometimes stayed with him for several days.

Mr Fisten also suggested that Epstein had 13 phone numbers for the duke.

Ms Roberts Giuffre’s allegations about Prince Andrew were struck from the US court record in 2015.

Shortly after Epstein’s death the prince himself said it was a “mistake and error” to see Epstein after he was released from prison after serving an 18-month sentence for prostituting minors.

“At no stage during the limited time I spent with him did I see, witness or suspect any behaviour of the sort that subsequently led to his arrest and conviction,” the royal said in a statement.

“I have said previously that it was a mistake and an error to see him after his release in 2010 and I can only reiterate my regret that I was mistaken to think that what I thought I knew of him was evidently not the real person, given what we now know.”

Buckingham Palace has said that “any suggestion of impropriety with underage minors is categorically untrue”.

It added: “It is emphatically denied that the Duke of York had any form of sexual contact with Virginia Roberts Giuffre. Any claim to the contrary is false and without foundation.”

I share this with the full awareness that it is not very useful, for a variety of reasons. For one thing, a large portion of the names in his contact book will not be automatically connected to the actual person they refer to because of things like titles or simply common names. After over a month of work on my part, I have now published the Jeffrey Epstein network map that combines thousands of hours of research from numerous individuals and teams around the world. The data sources include the pieces published by Whitney Webb via Mint Press News and numerous mainstream media and government sources that can be verified and tracked.

Explaining the content of this map requires many hours, but in summary we can see:

- Epstein was connected directly to more than one nation’s intelligence agency.
- He was in business with the world’s largest arms dealers.
- He was directly involved in the business of CIA front companies.
- The Maxwell family, including Epstein’s partner Ghislaine were also heavily connected in with intelligence agencies. Robert Maxwell and some of his daughters were instrumental in the distribution of compromised software (PROMIS) that was used by numerous governmental agencies to store and track sensitive information.
- Donald Trump’s disgraced mentor ‘Roy Cohn’ was directly involved in sexual blackmail operations going back decades. Trump then took over one of the hotels that had been used and continued running parties there.
- There are clearly many questions that need to be answered regarding CIA and Israeli secret service activity in the US and globally, plus just how many of the world’s political figures are being blackmailed into supporting policies under the threat of having compromising images of them released and their careers and families destroyed.

Clearly the nature of this information means that some of it is hard to corroborate and we must always maintain an open mind that some if it is incorrect. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty. It is also important to understand that accusations of human trafficking and child abuse are themselves used as weapons to discredit innocent people.

Jeffrey Epstein's arrest and apparent death has caused numerous researchers to dive deep into his associates, foundations and funding. The evidence shows that his network extends quickly into almost every corridor of power and a wide variety of major global crime syndicates whose activity includes human trafficking, weapons and drug smuggling. After over a month of work on my part, I have now published the Jeffrey Epstein network map that combines thousands of hours of research from numerous individuals and teams around the world. The data sources include the pieces published by Whitney Webb via Mint Press News and numerous mainstream media and government sources that can be verified and tracked.

oops, I missed that this was already posted. I still think it is funny that "thousands of hours of research from numerous individuals and teams around the world" yields a map that is missing so many of the names from the contact book. Where are all of the royals and aristocrats, family heirs and so on? Where are all of the authors and journalists, or luxury service providers? A good starting point but frankly the "black book" is not that large of a document - going through entry by entry is not all that daunting, and social relationships are at least as important to me as business ones. Apparently it is up to me to make an actual exhaustive index (don't hold your breath for that one )
